    Good evening, I just bought this top and dress through your affiliate website. Thank you. I look forward to sewing this top up when I can. I can’t right now because I am unable to walk as my left leg 🦵 is disabled. Hopefully soon I will be in better shape. I love 💕 Itch to Stich patterns and look forward to making them up. Keep up the good work.

    A tip, when I want the stitch in the ditch straight stitch to stretch I hand wind woolly nylon serger thread onto bobbin thread of sewing machine. The top looks great on you Karina.👍🇦🇺

    I like a lot about this pattern. I think what I like the most is the sleeve. Usually dolman sleeves look baggy, at least on me. Maybe it’s the elastic? Thank you for the tutorial and thank you for the link for your binding fabric. I always admire it when you use it. ❤️

  • @debm460

    Really nice pattern and simple. Would look great in a bold knit fabric. Depending on how much fabric you have, sometimes you need a few simple pieces. Other times, a lot of pieces for smaller cuts of fabric. Karina, you taught me how to be efficient and economize. I automatically do that now.

    Such neat details. I don't think I would use clear elastic because it's itchy. I was thinking a scrap of brushed elastic or something really soft but still with good stretch

    I love this pattern but I usually need to add a further FBA to a pattern that is already drafted with an FBA. Is there a way I could add bust room to the Soller?

  • @amymannarino1068
    @amymannarino1068 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    These look great on you. Hope you won’t mind a question. Do you use a straight stitch or a narrow zig zag when stitching in the ditch. I’m new to knits and worry about popping stitches. Also I’m usually a C cup in sewing and I’m assuming this is made for a B cup. Do you think an FBA would be necessary?

    • @LiftingPinsandNeedles
      @LiftingPinsandNeedles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A narrow zig zag looks like a straight stitch. That’s what I use. I’m a C cup and didn’t need any bust adjustment.

    Question: is the athletic knit warm to wear as a dress? That multi-colored with pink bag and black sandal heels (groovy!) inspires me to go for it, but I mostly wear natural fibers (hot weather).
