For each preamble you deliver, I hold my breath in case you say something to indicate your abdication from this "gift to complete strangers" place. And then you don't......which is good. Thank you.
I cannot imagine a scenario in which that would be the case. I really, really enjoy this process and only wish I'd started a TH-cam channel sooner! I love teaching and I love hearing from all of you, so thank you for continuing to come to watch and comment. This has been a very bizarre time and it has been so much more enjoyable having a community of like minded, passionate stitchers to be among. I couldn't ask for a more lovely and enthusiastic group. Truly. All of you make me so happy. ❤️
so happy to have you doing these videos - I am so far behind but hope to spend some time with you soon. You are so talented, and you help me not be so afraid of actually trying to do these stitches! Thank you from the bottom on my heart - deby
Wonderful video, loved your choices of color and stitches. I learn something new, or a creative twist every time! Thank you ~ Take care & happy creating! Barb
So glad you didn’t pull that trellis stitch! Every step beautiful. Loved these colors too. Need to make myself list and get more threads! Merlin must still be sleeping! Agree so much with your decision about numbering circles. You are your own designer, and Sue should feel so honored to have your beautiful examples using her threads and other products. You already have many subscribers too. So this increases her sales of her products as well. I’ve never met her but she seems like a very nice and generous lady. I am needing or wanting to make a needle roll. Do you have any plans or thoughts on doing one of these? Just a thought.
Thanks so much Debbie. Yes, Sue is incredibly kind and generous. I have been thinking of designing something like that. I will give it more thought over the weekend. ❤️
@@bethfred6360 I'm on it and have been working away all afternoon. I think it will be a lot of fun, though I've already veered from my initial thought which was to use the circles I've been designing for it. I will unveil when it's closer to being finished...
No! I'm not sure I would know what to say, other than I go with my gut and just throw a whole bunch of stuff on the table and then start rummaging around in it, until I find something that works. Often I'll pull something out and then start stitching and think- no, no, this is all wrong, pull it out, and grab something else, hoping that will work better. I'll have to think more about this, so that I might be able to describe the process in a more thoughtful way. I love the idea though, because color is such a huge part of the design process, so thank you for the question, it's making me think!
Hy Ariane I'm your fan too, a would like to know if the treads you use from Sue Spargo, can I use another treads or similar, or they are a easy to get, maybe by Amazon? thank you.
Ana Shilinsky I used to use Valdani, this was when Sue recommended that thread before she started creating her own. I also used DMC and there were a couple others that I once used as well. I think any thread that you love will work. I’ve even used fine knitting yarn! But I must say that now that I have been using Sue’s threads I’m a convert and just love them. I know there are a number of shops in the US & Canada that carry her threads too, I just don’t know the names of them.
Exploring is the perfect word. Traveling to unknown places and trusting the process. 👍
Love that! Yes, exactly. ❤️
First time watching. Sooo impressed. More is MORE.
Haha! Sometimes, it is!! ❤️😂❤️
I would love to have lots of these process videos. I love the inspiration as well as the relaxation. Thanks
I've made a number of them. You can see them all on this playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLdUF8U3KF2nJJxxvMqYi53kURiyyNeqDQ.html

Have you done a video on how you make your color choices?
