Hello Robyn, I just saw your tutorial making the poinsettia card, with the clear transparency film. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. You explained what you were doing and what you were using. easy to follow. I like the technique you used, it is very pretty and impressive. The sparkle is just right for Chrsitmas. I will have to try it.
oh oh oh now I have to go get re inkers and transparencies tomorrow! This is gorgous thankyou for sharing your talents. I sure missed your videos thank goodness you are all moved in now! tfs hugs
Love, love love it! Looks like the perfect card to send out for x-mas. I would love to do this for x-mas now if I only can find a stamp and re inkers were I live . Wish me luck!
I used the poinsettia stamp from Stampin' Up and found the transparency at Office Max (the lady there was very helpful - the box of 100 is $38, so she sent me to the counter where I bought 5 sheets for a couple of dollars). I was able to make 4 designs out of each card. They really are beautiful. If you do them in bulk, be sure to apply the glitter before the ink dries! Thanks for the instructions!
We go to Goodwills all the time looking for things. I found a new box of transparency for .50. I felt so lucky. I can't tell you how many stamps and craft items I have found at the junk stores. Including Stampin up ink pads for .50, StazOn ink pads too.
Beautiful!!! I have SU Crystal effects--- do you think that would be close enough to use to hold the color and glitter? That looks so beautiful on the white card stock!! I'm anxious to try it!!
You can find that tool and adhesive at Joann's and probably Michael's. It's by Scotch brand and called ATG tape. You can also buy refill tape rolls. I found it on Amazon.com: www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Darts-crafts&field-keywords=ATF%20tape
I went to office max and they wanted 39,99 for the transparency sheets but they sold me some for .30 cent each. go to the area where they make copies. This was in Las Vegas, Nv. and I found the stamp at I brake for stamps
I love, love, love this idea! All the glitter with no worries about it getting all over everything. So pretty. Thanks Robyn!

Very pretty, I'm a painter at heart.
Glitter over a paper coffee filter. It is easy to get back excess back into the bottle/jar that way.
