I noticed you changed some settings to improve SD Terrestrial TV quality. Any further tips on this as I would like to get this TV for my Mum but she tends to watch only SD TV content which can look bad on modern screens...
Hi Dan, is it possible to use Alexa as an assistant with this TV? If I press the audio button on the remote, I can speak commands to Alexa, such as turning on lights? Thanks and congratulations on the video!
good video, just a favor could you try the following video "4K HDR Fireworks Sony Oled TV Demo" on TH-cam with the local attenuation on high and see the blooming that it presents a lot or a little, because mine presents a lot in this specific video and in subtitles in general.
Great video as always. I'm trying to decide between this and the Panasonic W95 soon to be released stateside. Do you have any experience with the Panasonic? Thank you.
@@greggles2369 What do you mean different model???? I can literally get the QN90D, 85" size for $1840 directly from Samsung. If I could send you a screenshot to prove it I would. That IS with my government employee discount on top of Samsung's black Friday sale. I'm sorry you don't believe it but it's true.
@greggles2369 Nope. QN90D. 85" for $1839.99 directly from Samsung with my government employee discount on top of Samsung's black Friday sale. If I could send you a screenshot to prove it I would.
I ordered one too. How did you get the stand on? I don't exactly understand what the picture is saying to do. I t looks like its saying to cut away the sides of the box and then the tv will stand in the styrofoam while you screw the stand on? Sketchy...
@@rsr789 It's twice the price it should be better It's not twice the price better though. Just get an actual Oled for that money and get a good panel, why waste your time with an overpriced Bravia? If all you want is a brand name good for you though.
@@PedroBorges-tt6jo First QN90D: wholly uneven screen, one side was bent backwards so that when I took a picture and sent it to Samsung, they told me to exchange the TV, ASAP. Second QN90D: clusters of dead pixels across the whole screen.
That reaction to Farage made my day 😂😂
Will this stay bright when watching Sky’s 10 bit UHD broadcasts? My 2020 Q75 goes very dark when watching Sky in UHD unless it’s in 8 bit
All size , 75 inc also VA panel? Can someone help me about this?
Who ever designed the stand on last years QN95C should sit in the naught step much more simple this years QN90D
Great Dan, thank you
P.S. You have soap opera effect now as your judder setting is on maximum.. SOE is caused by high motion interpolation, not noise reduction
I know there is no Dolby Vision. But do Netflix and Amazon Prime and Apple TV play just as good with the HDR 10+
Netflix doesn't have HDR10+, all HDR content will play in HDR10.
Can anyone tell me if the Samsung 55" qled q90D uses a VA panel?
Yes, it is a VA panel

Awesome Tv .
Hi Dan can you or anyone please tell me how you got UK terrestrial tv channels? this tv doesn't come with Freeplay...
I have the 50qn90d and when I turn down the brightness to 0-5% i see screen flickering only on the left side like pwm dimming is it normal?
Didn't you do the picture/motion settings on this one Dan?
Pretty good local dimming has this model, great video as always, greetings from Falkirk✌️
Where do u get VESA screws for TV and what size?
M8-1.25 x 11-to-13 (minimum). If you are also using spacers with the mounts, you will need a longer screw (at least a 20mm screw).
Does this comes with one connect box or everything is built in?

@Saphire_Throated_Carpenter_Ant Did you figure it out?
Second comment.
I returned my QN90D 65" and got a Bravia 9 65" instead: it's a FAR better TV in every way build quality, picture, sound, and UI/UX.
And far more expensive
@@xXxristos12 What's more expensive, a TV that doesn't work properly, i.e. basically useless, or a TV that does?
