- There is always lots of controversy about these Christmas rack packs. From what we have been told, the only authentic ones are baseball cards from 1952 to 1962. Be careful, there are plenty of fakes out there.

These Cards are Gorgeous! Almost 70 Years since these came out, hard to believe! Love that Matthews Card! Thanks for sharing this Amazing Rippin yall!
The most bogus packs made. Repacked recently more than likely. The plastic is the obvious sign. Painful open to watch...lol
Man I hope that Mathews gets a 7/7.5 !!!
Congrats on Eddie and thanks for sharing with the members!
That's awesome that you are able to open what are the original mystery packs.
You should try using an exacta knife or a razor blade. Might give you better control to make more precise extractions.
Thanks GBP! Agree. Original mystery packs is a cool way to think about it. I think next time I better open the packs though. LOL
Nice cards guys!! Love that vintage!!!!! Thanks again guys
That Eddie is nice and could fetch around $275 at PSA 8
You need a pair of Excelta 298 scissors. Stamp collectors use them too. Never nick a card again.😊
thanks Karl, I will look them up. Snake
Great Video as always !!! Love The Eddie card !!!
Eddie matthews the only player to play for the Boston Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves
Yeah Clell, kinda crazy that he is the only one to play for all three locations of the franchise. He is a great player to collect but I doubt I will ever own his rookie.
Doesn't that pack look way to clean to have been sitting around for 65+ years?
Your only buying the cards on the outside ❤

Really great looking Eddie!
Wow this is cool thanks guys😮
Love that Eddie Matthews all star card
Love these...
Really cool rip!
Awesome job men
Of course they are real, they just have no decent players other than what you see.
You can tell it's a fake pack by the Jerry Lynch card at the six minute mark. You can see surface wear on his red sleeve. Fresh out of the pack cards never have surface wear. Also, the shrink wrap should be yellowed and brittle after 66 years.
Cards can absolutely have surface issues straight from a pack.
I do not think anyone ever claimed these were repacked straight from the pack. Most of the cards are definitely in different condition from pack fresh.
@@marman51212 I've never seen a card with wear like that Lynch card straight from a real pack. When they're new, cards are glossy, even back in 1958. You only see surface wear from years of a card rubbing against other cards, which wears off the gloss and some of the printing ink. Fake pack, period.
The were made buy a 3rd party company in the early 80s. They used old new stock from topps
You gentleman got duped, one nice card in the middle on top and the rest commons. I feel for you two.(If you think that was packaged up in late 1958 your delusional)
Worn and creased cards? I don’t think so.
Interesting comment Dave. So are you saying you only collect vintage cards that are in mint condition? Most of our collection is worn and creased and we love them. My Mantle's are almost all in a 1 or 2 slabs. My Hank rookie is a 1.5 and its my favorite card I own.
