George Klein has written a very good book on Elvis and is one that met him before Sonny, Red, Marty, Charlie, Lamar, Joe, Jerry, Priscilla, et al. He also had his own career. but remained friends till the end. Power to you George
So far George is the only person who has make statements about elvis struggles such as what elvis really seems to be like that is so kind of him sharing such memorable moments it is touching. R I p mr Klein now u and elvis the king will have plenty to catch up with,

One of Elvis’ smarter sidekicks; capable and able of making his own way in life, unlike those who depending on the king for everything; and then wrote scandalous books about him, when he no longer provided for them. Lots of respect George Klein.

It was such a pleasure listening to George Klein's show on satellite radio just a few years ago. He told so many great stories, my favorite is that when Klein got out of jail on ridiculous charges of inflating his radio station's ratings, Elvis welcomed him publicly and with open arms during a time when stars reflexively dropped scandalized friends.
They all have to add there fifteen minutes of fame we will never know the real ELVIS only what he showed us every one has a tale to tell we have our own feelings for ELVIS and that is we LOVED him and MISS HIM and we will never go against him or accept any unkind word that any one have to say about him. Rest in Peace ELVIS PRESLEY

Best Man to everyone , George Kline is first class . Never thru Elvis under the bus and sure had pull to keep Elvis and so many other Artists and studios going thru his career .. For sure is Memphis Tn, Best Man for Music . That's a fact !

Sein Buch über Elvis habe ich aus gelesen, einfach toll geschrieben.
My goodness, are all these men writing a book? If they truly love Elvis, why do they have to write a book about him? HE WOULDN'T HAVE LOVE THEM WRITING ABOUT PERSONAL THING IN HIS LIFE. THIS MAN IS STILL TRYING TO MAKE A BUCK TALKING ABOUT A GREAT MAN ,ELVIS PRESLEY. ELVIS IS THE KING AND IS LOVE BY THE FANS ALL OVER THE WORLD.

George is wrong on one thing, Elvis was also Sonny West's best man when Sonny got married.
Kline is wrong about a lot of things. He tries to make himself more important than he was.
To this day I still do not get the Elvis obsession. The bizarre lifestyle and seperating the fact from the fiction fascinate me.
Strip Elvis of everything. The hairstyle..the dancing..the clothing etc. Take it all away. The obsession is the voice. Whenever you get a chance just listen to the voice. I mean really listen.
