From my vocal coach , she told me to do the lip trills not with too much volume but you can still hear it. Don't force your voice to go high, just use your zygomatics by doing a nose scrunch

I honestly miss choir, during a competition an experienced instructor came in to give tips on vocal warm ups so that we’d be ready, he didn’t expect us to know the “Sunday, Monday and Tuesday” warm up and he applauded our teacher for teaching us it. I really need to start doing vocal warm ups again, my breathing is off and I can’t hold notes for as long as I used to 🥺

First close your jaw Second pucker lips, Not too much. Not too little Third exhale and close your lips, Not too tight but not too loose You should be able to do it but practice practice practice! Last but not least, she's basically humming while doing the lip trills and that's the warm-up!

With both hands, compress your cherck with one finger. Basically a ☝️
I have troubles with lip trill so I make a “z” sound going up the same way she does
Just “zzzzzzzzzzz” your way up the scale!

Try either using a "V" sound or a "Z" sound

A lot of people can’t do lip trills so if you can’t here’s what I recommend: roll your R’s, hum, practice lip trills!
