Loved it, buffs are always pole benders. Where I live, I fish for flatheads but mainly catch gar, longnose gar like what you caught. I love the fight, not much on eating them and I have eaten them. One of my wife's first big fish years ago was a 12 pound gar, still have the pic of her in a bikini holding it LOL. She hates them other than the fight. Was surprised that you didn't catch a carp, just a timing thing. I love catching anything that will bend the pole, even the littlest of fish on a super lightweight fly rod. Fun is fun and you manage to have the fun.
Man, Austin, you were running like someone was asking for your fishing spots! Would you ever consider doing a gar catch, clean, and cook? You might have to learn some new ways to clean a fish, but I bet that if you did one, it would be among your highest-viewed videos. Just a thought!
@@bradjohnson482Man I’m just saying I’m here for the catfish not a gar catch and cook since there is several others out there. I think he needs to keep doing what he’s doing.
The rust color mud of Oklahoma huh 🤔 nothing like it 😂
Thanks for watching!
That's awesome and a nice change of pace. Keep up the amazing job
Thanks for watching Stanley!

Thanks for watching! Yes sir, having fun is what it's about! 12lbs is a sizable Gar. I've eaten them and I agree, they're ok
Love the videos as always. I believe if you don't fall at least once, you're not fishing! Lol
Thanks for watching! Yeah, it happens!
Buffalo ribs? Catch and cook?
That spot looks fun. Have I been there?
Thank you for watching! You haven't but I'd love to take you!
Sweet spot man. Nothing like a multi species trip!!
What bait did the gar eat? I have a river near me in canada that has long nose gar and channel cats that I dream about figuring out.
It ate the Buffalo. Thanks for watching!

Thanks Brad I always appreciate your engagement I want to make you proud!
What is your pb turtle?
Thanks for watching! Probably my 1st and only Alligator Snapping Turtle, estimated weight around 10lbs.
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day,.. teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime.😊
