Whenever you mentioned you have a VCR plugged in at 5:47 that made me laugh then I had to check the date....Well, to my surprise this was in 2017....😳🤯
Most of the things I have plugged in are low draw devices like lamps, fan, speakers and a monitor that are usually off so I don't see any reason to turn it off. However it is nice to have the option to be able to cut the power off to all devices plugged into it if everything isn't going to be used.
If you got it on Amazon it should be easy to return at least. I now have three of them and haven't had any issues with them but from the reviews it does seem like a portion of them are defective.
If I were you, I wouldn't put that protector on a carpet. If it burns or catches on fire then everything on that carpet burns leading possibly to a house fire...
Amazon.ca sell this surge protector around $45 plus Tax which is very expensive I don't think this unit worth more than $19.99 oh well, I don't recommend buying this unit from Amazon because they ripping people off thanks for the video.
They are now selling it under $20! Picked up the 12 outlet one last night from Amazon for $19 The 8 outlet was more expensive at $20 which was wired but nonetheless it's no longer the price you stated at least (:
@@Aperez78 Are you referring to Amazon.com or Amazon.ca last week the price on Amazon.ca was $45 plus TAX It seem like you're referring to Amazon.com, because the price on Amazon.ca around $29.99 + TAX + Shipping oh well, thanks again
@@mountanarivera4450 I'm sorry you are correct I misread the .ca! Now that's a bummer hopefully it does go down as in .com it was at 18.99USD and $20 after taxes/shipping cost.
@@Aperez78 Three years ago I bought this Surge protector around $14.98 Canadian@ dell.ca plus Free shipping, unfortunately nowadays everything going up

Do you leave it on all the time or should I shut it off when not using it?
