- This may already be common knowledge for people who have experience with the EA DB Editor, but I decided to make a quick video tutorial on how to make Teambuilder teams now that the Teambuilder site is completely gone. Unfortunately we are still limited on what we can do, but it is the best we have.

If I went too fast please let me know, I had to try and fit a lot of content into a small amount of time. If enough people would like a full tutorial of me doing a full creation of a team with this method, let me know.
Last disclaimer: I apologize for the computer portion being a bit blurry, I should have recorded with a higher bitrate and I also only recorded it in 720p so it doesn't look as clear. Hopefully you can still tell what is going on though!

I would do this but that ea logo as the team logo is just bothering me too much.
Just use an already existing logo that would make sense for you to use, like the first letter of your school name
This video is pretty helpful but I do have a question. I do not have any teambuilder teams already made. Is there a way to download one with the website being down? I can't find a file online to save my life

When I go to open my dynasty file in the ea editor it does not allow me to open it bc it is not a .mco2 file
You have to convert the file in modio and then use the one from that not the base save on your flash

No, but you can add the logo of a different team.

When I go to the step where I go into the TeamBuilder teams it says I have no TeamBuilder teams. It's empty. How do I get TeamBuilder teams so I have something to start with?

Make sure author is set to any
I’m using Xbox 360, and every time I try to load a teambuilder dynasty file into the editor it gives me a error message. I tried to add a non teambuilder dynasty and it worked fine. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

@@jerielwilliams1360 I believe if you go to the places tab, then click on stadiums, find your team on that list then a few slots over it will say City and State if you change those it should work. i know ive done it that way a few times and it seemed to work when i did it. now technically that just changes the city/state where your stadium is but its pretty much the same thing lol

iball musicgroup unfortunately each dynasty can only have 12 teambuilder teams max in it. There is no way to have a full dynasty of teambuilder teams if that is what you are asking!

The problem I keep running into is, when I try to open my dynasty file, it never shows up. So after i kept looking for the differences in ur video compare to mine, I noticed that when the ea editor asks me to open up a file, it has to be a .MC02 file. Whereas in your video it doesnt say that. Anybody have any suggestions for what went wrong?

Cannon Bros unfortunately I will not be re-recording the video, the best advice I can give you is to use the word document I linked to guide you when it comes to knowing which value is which. Even with the low quality you should be able to get a gist of what I was doing and then use the document to know which value affects which part of the uniform.

@@MauiSnipes like i have 3 different Illini teams downloaded and I'm currently able to change the color scheme to update the uniforms with the ea db editor, but i was wondering if i can take one team builder Illini team and swap all the data in the editor to another downloaded team builder team, still Illini, but has different base uniforms (Jersey pants and helmets have different stripe patterns).
Basically swap one set of Unis for another through the data since they are downloaded already.
I have already changed the one set that is most recent to their Unis this year to be even closer to their new reddish orange color and darker blue and even made their galloping ghost Unis but i wanted to bring back the stripes on the helmets and sides of the pants. The issue is the set i started with has a single curve stripe vs the set i downloaded that has the stripe pattern i really want to use.
@@MauiSnipes i am doing it this way and not just starting the dynasty with the other team because the roster is more updated than the other.
Which brings me to my second question. How do i take an updated team ncaa roster from 2019 and apply it to a team builder team? Can it be done?
Currently I'm exporting one player at a time and then importing them into my dynasty onto the team builder and it's taking forever. Tried to do a whole copy of a roster but it never replaces anyone. Only the way I'm currently doing has worked.
And i have 4 team builder teams in my dynasty, Illinois, app state, Wisconsin and Purdue
Greyson Gladney I do not think it is possible to change the actual uniforms, only the colors. So the uniform that is on the team builder team when you download it is the one you have to use, the editor just makes it possible to change the colors (as far as I know). As for the roster in all honestly the only way I would know how to do it is editing every player individually.
@@MauiSnipes thanks. I have another question if you don't mind. Do you know how to switch between the primary and secondary logos used on all of the jerseys and helmets on the jerseys, what that code is within the editor?

ChillxWolf I am not sure. You would have to check and see if there is an Ea Editor version available for Mac. I do not know if there is off the top of my head
