I lived near Antelope Valley College, Lancaster, and circa 2005 there was amateur midget car races in the college parking lot on the weekends. While I never saw a race in Valencia, there is an old race track there. I lived in Los Angeles County from 1966 to 2010 and enjoyed most of my time there.

I also remember L.A.C.R. (Los Angeles county raceway) in Littlerock ca. Classic drag strip.
Take pics, it's all we have to remember these places. They destroy everything eventually...😢
