You make a great point Brian. I have an example (sorry its so long ago) that illustrates the zig when teams zag. I remember when the Steelers were able to select/get Casey Hampton because they valued him much more than the rest of the league at the time. The reason for that was that the majority of the teams were running a 4-3 while the Steelers were running the 3-4. I think that we were able to capitalize on better players for our scheme because of it and the same could be happening now with this style of play!
This game may end up demonstrating a stark juxtaposition between a hot team's offense firing on all cylinders, and the other one just sputtering out of the driveway if Arthur Smith can't get this Steelers' offense scoring some damned touchdowns!
all Of a sudden 117 passing yards and 13 6 is the standard I was under the impression our QB room was better 🤷♂️ I’m not closed to it will get better but guys like you all are pumping up garbage football?! Did we completely forget what our Offense looked like with Mason last year ? If the Steelers over last 3 four seasons is direction NFL wants to go!!!? League is in trouble
That approach leaves you very little room for error. No team has pulled it off recently. The ones that did, 2000 Raven & 2004 Bucs, where historically great defenses. This is not sustainable.
It's like MAGA and Fox News if you keep talking yourself into something as loud as possible no matter how improbable (and untrue) it is all that remain (s) must be the truth. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. 😜🤪 This one time back at band camp Justin Fields is actually a starting QB in the NFL.
The spin control of the Pgh media about the passing game under Fields is kinda embarrassing.
It is. Meanwhile Stroud has 500 yards passing with 3tds no picks. This offense is scared.

Herbert has thrown for 130 yards and 144 in his two games.
Hasn’t been asked to throw. Remember he threw for almost 400 and ran for almost 100 the last time he played the Steelers defense!

Pittsburgh fans are amazing. 2-0 and they're complaining.
Steelers could get beat up & need Captain Russ to win it in the 4th.
TOGETHER = 1 TD. 😂
Actually Pittsburgh should take advantage of chargers defense they're not that good

He would've had over 200 yards passing and another touchdown if 77 wasn't holding everyone.
Actually the League is going the OTHER direction…. Tomlin stuck in the 70s. Be good to go .500…. The NEW Standard
I doubt Herbert plays.
