One of my 2017 faves was, you! It's been so wonderful watching your videos this year, your voice is incredibly soothing and you obviously out a lot of effort into what you create (background, lighting, sound quality are always 10/10). Anyways, my favorite product this year is an ~older~ one, it's Benefit's Watts Up! It's a beautiful golden champagne highlighter and it's soooo creamy and easy to blend in. I wore during my entire dive season, three hours of practice, 5 days of the week, and it stayed on throughout reverses and 3 meter lineups. :) Not even chlorine could touch it.

I adore the Cover FX highlighter. Can’t recall the one I use but it’s so natural and perfect for my 45 year old face. I can’t stand the over the top highlight. I think it looks like you have too much makeup on. Love the way the Cover FX ones melt into your skin and blends to perfection.

Bare minerals buttercream gloss in Flirt (also love their gen nude liquid lips) BECCA vanilla quartz highlight. I loveee to mix champagne pop with Colourpop’s wisp. They’re obviously amazing on their own. I’m also obsessed with the Belif true cream moisturizing bomb. Lastly, my hair thrives off of chi silk infusion & verb ghost oil. I’m a dry girl too 🤗
Totally agree on the IT Cosmetics CC cream. My skin is terrible in winter and even on days when I forget to moisturize my face looks nice with this foundation. You were one of the people who pointed me towards this product so thank you ❤️

The Tarte Clay Play palette is hands down the best palette of 2017. I use it every single time I do my makeup. It is absolutely essential to any look in my opinion. From the obvious using it for every eye look, the crease color options are phenomenal, it has various colors of setting shades to set your primer, and it has both warm and cool shades. It is also perfection for brow powder. The shades are the perfect tone for natural brows. And lastly, it is perfect for adding shape and color to the face. It’s just magic. If you don’t have it, you need it. ✌🏼💜💋
I bought the Tarte palette on your recommendation and I haven't looked back, it is my favorite palette!! I use is every day! I seen they have the Clay Play 2 palette, but I just feel like I'm so happy with this one, that I don't even need to try the new one lol!
SOO glad I picked up the MJ bronzer. I love it and know I would have regretted not getting it. Definitely my favorite as well. I also love the KVD Bronzer in the Shade and Light palette which you can buy as a single now. It’s a touch warmer than the MJ bronzer however it’s more neutral yellow and looks gorgeous paired with a brown lip. Insanely blendable and not too pigmented. And then my drugstore faves include the PF Butter Bronzer and the No7 bronzers.
I love this hair color on you! This is your color! I recommend DpHue Color Gloss from ulta to keep it dark. I am a brunette who recently recovered from my highlight addiction and this product keeps my hair super rich and dark! There's a cool and warm tone for brunettes.
YES to Mac face and body! Loving it for my everyday makeup- I made myself put it down for a week or two to show my other foundations some love (makeup junkie here!). Best wishes in 2018!

Hey Jamie, I have no clue if you'll ever get the chance to read my comment, but I'm trying my luck. I've found you on TH-cam a few months ago, I was desperately looking for suggestions for foundations, and funny enough you have been the only beauty influencer whose opinion I shared. I was amazed , so many times I bought things (without checking online first), I was disappointed and then I looked online to see what I'm doing wrong, and everyone seemed to love the products apart from me. I came to the conclusion that probably you're the only youtuber I came across that is 100% honest. I haven't checked your videos for a couple weeks, and now I saw this one in my feed, and I am amazed! I literally agree about sooo many products : Tarte Shape tape, IT Cosmetics -cc cream, nars concealer, marc jacobs tan tastic, makeup forever blushes, jouer pch (i bought that one at your recommendation), huda beauty mini palettes, benefit brow pencil..Many of them I haven't even tried yet! But there's no product you said it's good and I don't agree. I have to say I am definitely not a beauty influencer, I am a makeup artist who works at a beauty counter in a department store (in UK), so all I see I have to buy.. I discovered Wet n Wild Precious Petals Highlighter for myself in 2017, it may have come out earlier, but I'm an old girl, but I love highlighter, and WeW PP highlighter just works, it doesn't show texture or pores, it certainly doesn't settle in wrinkles, and my fine lines are actually called wrinkles at my age. So bottom line, it doesn't make me look as if I'm holding on to my youthful years to no avail in a tacky way. Nope, I use it tastefully, and strategically placed and it looks great, forever young at heart, but know and respect what I can and can't use. Too Faced, Just peachy Loose powder and Warm nude foundation has been a game changer, I love it, and jointly on my skin is beautiful. Happy New Year Jamie!

Just want to say the video you did about your bullet journal really inspired me, and I bought my own yesterday. Im loving it, even though I'm not a talented drawer to be honest, but it still really inspires me to try. I also believe it will inspire me to work harder on my goals for 2018 as well. I decided to kind of break them up and track them each month (and as you suggested make a check box after each so i can check them of😍). Want to say a huge thank you for inspiring me to make my own bullet journal and i would love to se more videos about yours in the future.

The Tarte Clay Play palette is hands down the best palette of 2017. I use it every single time I do my makeup. It is absolutely essential to any look in my opinion. From the obvious using it for every eye look, the crease color options are phenomenal, it has various colors of setting shades to set your primer, and it has both warm and cool shades. It is also perfection for brow powder. The shades are the perfect tone for natural brows. And lastly, it is perfect for adding shape and color to the face. It’s just magic. If you don’t have it, you need it. ✌🏼💜💋
I bought the Tarte palette on your recommendation and I haven't looked back, it is my favorite palette!! I use is every day! I seen they have the Clay Play 2 palette, but I just feel like I'm so happy with this one, that I don't even need to try the new one lol!
SOO glad I picked up the MJ bronzer. I love it and know I would have regretted not getting it. Definitely my favorite as well. I also love the KVD Bronzer in the Shade and Light palette which you can buy as a single now. It’s a touch warmer than the MJ bronzer however it’s more neutral yellow and looks gorgeous paired with a brown lip. Insanely blendable and not too pigmented. And then my drugstore faves include the PF Butter Bronzer and the No7 bronzers.
I love this hair color on you! This is your color! I recommend DpHue Color Gloss from ulta to keep it dark. I am a brunette who recently recovered from my highlight addiction and this product keeps my hair super rich and dark! There's a cool and warm tone for brunettes.
YES to Mac face and body! Loving it for my everyday makeup- I made myself put it down for a week or two to show my other foundations some love (makeup junkie here!). Best wishes in 2018!

Hey Jamie, I have no clue if you'll ever get the chance to read my comment, but I'm trying my luck. I've found you on TH-cam a few months ago, I was desperately looking for suggestions for foundations, and funny enough you have been the only beauty influencer whose opinion I shared. I was amazed , so many times I bought things (without checking online first), I was disappointed and then I looked online to see what I'm doing wrong, and everyone seemed to love the products apart from me. I came to the conclusion that probably you're the only youtuber I came across that is 100% honest. I haven't checked your videos for a couple weeks, and now I saw this one in my feed, and I am amazed! I literally agree about sooo many products : Tarte Shape tape, IT Cosmetics -cc cream, nars concealer, marc jacobs tan tastic, makeup forever blushes, jouer pch (i bought that one at your recommendation), huda beauty mini palettes, benefit brow pencil..Many of them I haven't even tried yet! But there's no product you said it's good and I don't agree. I have to say I am definitely not a beauty influencer, I am a makeup artist who works at a beauty counter in a department store (in UK), so all I see I have to buy.. I probably have enough makeup to compete with many youtubers , and I have to say again, you're the only genuine person whose opinion I fully trust. XOXO

I discovered Wet n Wild Precious Petals Highlighter for myself in 2017, it may have come out earlier, but I'm an old girl, but I love highlighter, and WeW PP highlighter just works, it doesn't show texture or pores, it certainly doesn't settle in wrinkles, and my fine lines are actually called wrinkles at my age. So bottom line, it doesn't make me look as if I'm holding on to my youthful years to no avail in a tacky way. Nope, I use it tastefully, and strategically placed and it looks great, forever young at heart, but know and respect what I can and can't use.
Too Faced, Just peachy Loose powder and Warm nude foundation has been a game changer, I love it, and jointly on my skin is beautiful.
