    I remember that slap from Skip to my Lou like it was yesterday. Eddie is a Celtic legend forever and never backed down. Loved these teams and their role players who played their hearts out

    Eddie House used to be one of my favorite players when the Celtics got KG and Allen.

    One of very few sharp shooters who had legit JUMP shot. JUmp first, and release at the apex, like Ray Allen. Usually the ones with legit jump shots are scorers not just sharpshooters.

    Going back to this after watching a ton of modern NBA games is crazy.
    This was less than a decade ago but it feels like I'm watching a different sport. No space and pace, just big bodies setting screens and fighting for rebounds lol

      s617 _ mostly better, I think the strategy got a whole lot more advanced and interesting to watch.
      Not much of a stat geek but analytics definitely helped change the game for the better

KG being hurt in 2009 destroyed the C’s chances instantly, and Perkins going down in game 6 of the 2010 Finals was disastrous. They were well on their way to another banner that year, but the Lakers out rebounded the C’s like it was NOTHING in Game 7 without Perk.
