- President William Ruto adopted a hostile tone against the yet to begin a dialogue with the opposition, and at some point ruled out a truce with Azimio leader Raila Odinga. Speaking at roadside stops in Muranga, Kiambu, Nyeri and Kirinyaga, President Ruto went into anti-opposition rhetoric accusing his opponents of hatching schemes towards a power-sharing arrangement with the opposition.

Mt.Kenya politics are very cheap. You just need to sell Raila phobia and they will definitely support you. Non-education in this region is the problem.. No leader takes development to this region because almost everyone is disadvantaged. If you compare Kisumu to Nyeri town, it's like comparing Gikomba market to Dedan Kimathi street CBD side by side. I went to Kisumu and remained silent... Kakamega town is also great

Clever politicians who want to make it to the presidency but don’t mean well for the electorate have realized that to win Mt Kenya votes, one just needs to give them an ‘enemy’ to vote against. They hardly vote FOR anything. They are the real antagonists/opposition. Hence stupidity such as ‘voting out Uhuru’ or Railaphobia (which has never ever made sense) and such other reasons. The current crop of leaders of that region hardly have solid policies for their electorate

This region has a record breaking cheapest political in Africa. You can grab their lands, make their lives miserable and use a tactic called "selling Raila Phobia" They will forget everything and clap 👏🏻 for you. This isn't funny, but illiteracy of another level.
Can surely a sensible government continue talking about a single person along the streets, highways, churches and funerals instead of spending time selecting proper economic policies for the country? Fertilizer price subsidies to increase food production isn’t a solution to the cost of living. Cost of living is just a symptom for a deep seated problem which needs to be addressed with proper policies. Kenya has 2 major problems that include runaway corruption and misappropriation and mismanagement of public resources. Incapable, and ineffective senior government officials adds salt to injury. Now that the kenya kwanza government officials are in the Central republic busy chest thumping and insulting those who speak for the downtrodden it leaves the over 60% of Kenyans at the fence. Campaign mood is high and no results will come from any talks because as usual the president the president has set the tone. Talks useless:- wamenyoroshwa.,, opposition has been beaten thoroughly. This is the song of kenya kwanza govt in its 2 strongholds of north rift and central kenya. This means no solution of any kind to the economy.
