I knew that the train frequency is around 7 minutes on the Tokyo - Osaka Shinkansen line, so I was hoping we'd see one around Odawara Station (which also has Shinkansen service). Wasn't disappointed!

しかし昭和時代を知っているだけにロマンスカーのMH鳴らす区間が物足りなくなりました。でも一時は一切鳴らさない時期もあった事を考えたらまだマシですね
海老名を通過するときMH鳴らした！ホーム上の乗客に列車接近！と注意喚起するには良いかも。私はかつて多摩川橋梁手前辺りまでMH鳴らしっぱなしで走るはこね8号(LSE)に乗ったことがある。時折天井からガリガリ聞こえるのはマスコンハンドル操作する音？
ロマンスカーっていいよな~（グリーン車みたいな上級シートがあるともっと良いけどね）
VSEにはサルーン席が3席ある。特急料金の4倍で乗れる。またその場合特急券は不要で、4人で乗れば元が取れる。
RSE、371系の2階、VSEのサルーン...
しかし上で紹介された列車たちは来年までに全て営業路線から消滅する模様
