O início desse som exala melancolia,o peso do sofrimento e é uma espécie de marcha fúnebre!!! É sinistro e único...Apesar de ser 100%black metal e eu definitivamente odiar essa vertente do rock,devo admitir que é uma obra prima e tem o respeito de quem curte,com todos os méritos!!!...

Sepultura tbem bacana, mas o Sarcófago seria outro patamar, o estilo mais agressivo e mais porrada. E eles não mudaram o ritmo, qdo começaram as mudanças na cena black/death metal os caras terminaram, agora o Sepultura foi se alterando de estilo.
Se o sarcófago continuasse com death/black pesado de antes ele conseguiria muito mais fama, infelizmente depois do "inri" começaram a fazer algo mais melódico, fugindo um pouco da sonoridade pesada que tinham.
Infelizmente eles tiveram problemas, tudo começou com aquela treta entre eles e o Ratos de Porão onde quebraram o braço do baterista do Sarcófago, aí depois eles começaram a decair demais
Além é claro da treta com Ratos de Porão,tem também a do Sepultura,e mais a mudança constante em sua formação e mais os estudos de Wagner Lamonier e sua evolução,no meio universitário,entre as muitas controvérsias dessa banda no Metal !!! Porém,é admirável o registro que deixou no metal brasileiro e o reconhecimento permanente no rock nroll extremo!!! Isso é indubitavelmente inegável!!! Fui !!!...

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Slayer, I just think they're way overrated. And when it comes to death metal, I'm biased. I prefer melodic death metal to the grumbling grind of Florida death metal. But if there were melodic American bands (and I know there are) I'd probably like them.

They're a better produced Venom. And Death? I'm sorry, but all American death metal sucks compared to what's coming out of places like Finland.
