About the same - Mitsubishi really developed a good AWD system that gets nowhere the recognition that Audi or Subaru gets.
Only in the states tho... Where l live, Mitsu has the superior AWD reputation

Judging by the comments, it seems the Mitsubishi is the favourite. Audi is nice but overpriced. Its only fancy materials and a badge that make it more expensive. People are so easily fooled and obsessed with image these days.

Either way I’m a Mitsubishi fan aswell.
They did a great job so similar with the fwd biased awd system assuming it’s haldex.

Excuse me sir, I suggest in every test, before test please check and control all the tire pressure (must according to manufacturers standard), and also mention all the tire's brand , because both factors important can effect the tire's grip. So the result and analysis will be more fair.
Marlina Purnawati New cars have tire pressure sensors, so there is no need to check it. If there is no alarm on a dashboard, pressure is ok for the car. Tire's brand doesn't influence the test much, usually every tire on the pavement has good grip (no spinning).
Marlina Purnawati Those what you said were not needed, the purpose of this test is how the all wheel drive system reacts if the wheels were slipping. Its not about the tires its about the all wheel drive system

Marcel Müller Haldex 5 is stronger (more Nm), but in average car it doesn't matter at all, both perform the same.

thejoseandresshow That is different situation. Going uphill - it means you press the throttle and then there is already quite a lot of torque.
Torque doesn't mean that wheels are spinning, there must be some resistance to create it (like hill).
Not true either. Momentum is mass multiplied by velocity. The car in my video is barely moving or not moving at all. The driver is giving very low throttle input so that the AWD can do its job without any help. The hill in that case just makes the test even more dificult because the AWD system has to transfer more torque to the 2 wheels that have traction.
thejoseandresshow English is my second language, so I'm not sure if I made myself clear, I edited momentum to torque (wrong translation, in my language torque is "moment"). What I meant is - you can stop any car on a hill and keep it stopped only by throttle. Hill is creating a resistance, you press acceleration pedal, rpm goes up, awd system gets more engaged and wheels have quite a lot of torque, although they are not spinning at all. You can't achieve such conditions on flat ground, at low throttle and with wheels on rollers, you must press acceleration pedal to a certain level.
