- This is the story of one man’s incredible drive to put baseball front and centre in Bavaria. Mitch Stephan, a young but experienced baseball player, fought for his dream of having a suitable ballpark that lives up to his beloved sport.
Today King’s Field sits in the beautiful valleys of the Bavarian Alps, as one of the most picturesque places to play baseball in Europe.

I know this Guy . Amazing guy ! He puts everything into Baseball. He have a Full Time Job , But every single Second he have , he puts it into his Team and the Support of German Baseball . @@oppenheimerfaaaaaan5547 It's all over the world- Latin America, Japan, Taiwan and some European countries- see world baseball classic, but more needs to be done in Europe with the youth so they begin to play it at an early age.

Football is number 1 there, then basketball. AF is coming more and more. Ice hockey rugby.... They play great football, great leagues. BB is too complicated for most people :-)
There’s been a growing interest in baseball in Australia. It’s nice to see that we can go to a ball game in the summertime and see a few hundred people attending.
Being a baseball fan in Europe kinda feels like living in the desert; there's nobody there. It's nice to see I'm not alone in my love for the sport.

I played in Germany last year. There is really a wonderful community of people absolutely devoted to baseball who love the game, and it's a spectacular place for someone like me who played in college, but wasn't close to being an MLB prospect, to keep playing at a high level for a few more years. There is some serious talent there too. European baseball is on the rise, and I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for German baseball.

I played here last season - 2021, and made amazing memories. Really enjoyed helping in my small way to make King's Field what it is today and I can't wait to return in the future to see how the team and game has grown. PRAISE THE KING! Auf Gehts Fussen! 👑⚾🇩🇪

I went to Neuschwanstein Castle outside Füssen with some friends and we drove by this and we couldnt believe what we were seeing. A beautiful baseball field in Germany.

Munich Oktoberfest, admit it :-) Prices up 15.77%. Between 12,60 and 13,80 for a glass. Gets warm quickly. But recently there is also a cocktail stand

I love this. I have a cousin who lives in Italy who wants to play baseball but it's not a popular sport there so some people from her town started a league but it's cool to see it become a bigger deal in Europe.
look up "baseballisimo", by David Bidini..a wonderful book about a fabulous baseball team in Naples in the 90's....i'm sure you will love it and find it most inspiring

An ice hockey and baseball town. For me, that would be heaven. I have some advice- build ball parks near military bases. Americans working abroad would love having a place to play ball.

That is well that Germany are playing baseball actually in Italy there is a league with differents team and pay very well over there there are many dominican's player that MLB's release and now they are playing in Italy.

There's no such regulation in German Baseball ;)
Great story. This field must have been constructed very recently because the Google Maps Satellite picture shows only an open, grass field w no dirt infield or mound or other baseball field features. .
Yes, Google Maps is not updated yet. King's Field was officially opened on July 10th, 2021.

There niche sport. I have relatives there. The country is quite beautiful, the rest.... There are much nicer, more pleasant residents around the world.
