hey quick question. what stops someone from just going back down the flight of stairs every round? it doesn't seem like there's any negative for doing so
@@atrane365 I'm fairly sure that unlike Exit 8, there's no randomization, could be wrong, it could be different per player rather than per save, but I've seen someone load a save and go through the exact same series of anomalies and floors
I think the creature that jumpscares you when you miss an anomaly is the one who manages this realm. Maybe the creature didn't understand our dimension at first, so he tried to test his little stairway game on a kitty. The kitty proceeded to immediately lose because cats aren't very smart and the kitty became stuck in there forever. Then the creature learned from its mistakes and brought in you, the human. Edit: Just watched the end, that wasn't what I had in mind.
gosh i just had to comment this.. your voice is so gentle and comforting and even your commentary had me giggle sometimes at how calm you were, knowing there is some frusturation is also a cute balance with your gentle attitude towards the kitty aswell ahh its adorable heh >.
if you like these you might like observation detail I want it be, that one time he pets the cat you get a lions roar or a jaguar sound. that would be funny
Ooooohhh NOOOO. its yet another game where the mc is the bad guy. Oh no, such a unique story... ugh, well okay, its not that its bad its just so many games do this exact thing its just so dull now You know what, I will at least give it props for being a game that's not allowed in spooktober jam.

@@CrankyRayy Maybe not representative of punishment but maybe the experience of being in such a relationship. Of course, it's probably just using the theme to be kinda edgy in a way that isn't necessarily meaningful.
After 40-minute mark, I started to wonder if there's really an end to it or you're tricked into some kind of looping hell by that jumpscaring demon. I might not be too far off.
In my books, a game that revolves around a kitty is always good. By the way, you should totally check out Stray when you have time. It is such an awesome game and I love it so much.
