Great video! I was in line of ordering myself the nameless axle back exhaust and I get an email saying that they are out of stock. Either chose another exhaust or wait the 45 days minimum until they have stock. I saw what inventory they had left and I’m glad to say they had Remark so I snagged it up!! But thanks to this video the comparison is amazing! Both sound great, the remark takes the cake.
Nameless 4” tips fit the extremely well in my opinion doesn’t leave any gaps, and let’s be honest the Rumble is real, especially if you have the STi. In your video remark looked like they fill the gap a little better but the nameless you have sounds better.
That’s why when I first got my axle backs I went with the 4in double wall nameless. Filled it so nice. Sure the price is $500 and I had to wait 2 months for it to come in but it’s worth it. Now all these brands are selling them. Just go for 4inch tips. All the catbacks for the wrx aren’t loud enough unless you get a j pipe, headers. This is best for those that want those pops. It also adds power not much but nameless site claims too. No highway drone but it is audible with the radio off. No matter which brand I’d say get 4inche 😉
The gasket included are best.thats made of ceramic stuffs that wont break easily but bendable and its heat resistant just like a foil so it wont shrink and last forever as long as your car is alive heh.thats why they included that instead of a metal/aluminum gaskets that bend and shrinks due to heat and vibration.dont judge the book by its cover heh.
...wow, remark doing their homework. if looks equal quality, then the remark piece is on point. it really makes the nameless piece look "lower end". sound aside, how will each set do in an area that sees snow/ice/rain and salted roads? longevity of poor quality metal in SW OH is not but a few years. I see the welds giving up first, especially around the hangers and flange; followed by the pipes themselves. Any experience with these units exposed in a heavy wet environment?
I had both. But sold the remark double wall burnt tips and replaced it with the 4" quad tips nameless.both sound the same on the same car setup.and i'll admit that the remark quality, craftsmanship and fitment is better than nameless.on remark u wont need any adjustment when you install it,its direct fit that fits perfect on the gap of the finisher compare to nameless that u will need to readjust and adjust to get that good fit but still saggy at the end even you use any kinds of hanger bushings.its just the shape design of nameless of which makes it fitment like that.remark also have 2.5" inlet and nameless only 2" inlet.i want it just because its 4" quad tips that pops the aggresive looks on the rear.
Awesome video. I nust got my 2019 wrx 2 days ago and I'm looking for a nameless exhaust because of the growl it does. The remark sounds amazing af tho. I think I just changed my mind. Sounds so good
Thanks for the comparison video. This is the only video that I've found that does a direct comparison between two different brands of STi muffler delete kits after they've been installed on a car. Thanks for doing all the hard work and sharing the results. I would have absolutely loved to used the Remark kit on my STi but they only make exhaust products for 2015+ STis and WRXs. Since I have a 2014 Stink Eye, I had to get the Nameless Performance muffler delete kit instead. It's the default choice since there are no other widely available options. Delta Motorworks also makes muffler delete kits but once again they're only available for 2015+ models. I'm very happy with my Namless Performance kit because it has straight cut tips, which I much prefer over slash cut tips, but it would have been nice to have more options when I was shopping. If you haven't done it yet, you might want to replace your stock rubber exhaust hangers with polyurethane ones. They will last longer than the rubber ones which will eventually dry out and start to crack after a while. Urethane ones are also much stiffer so they will help prevent your exhaust system from moving around and possibly having the larger Remark exhaust tips from touching your rear bumper. I've heard that that can happen if you drive your STi extremely hard around corners. If you want to replace all of the hangers, five are needed for the complete exhaust system. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for the positive feedback! I bet your car sounds incredible with the nameless. I loved mine for sure but always wished the tips were 3.5+. If I didn't get such a good deal on them I probably would have skipped and waited. The nameless delete is just a little more coin than I'd like to spend ($380ish?) For a muffler delete. My hangers are still in good condition and they sit pretty good, I'll eventually get some new ones. Thanks again for watching!
The tips were one of the other reasons why I went with the Nameless kit. I got the 3.5 inch, straight cut, double wall tips. Tip-wise they're exactly what I wanted. You're right - mine wasn't cheap. Nameless has a lot of tip options and the prices go up and up with each choice. Nobody buys an STi to save money though!
Nice video. I hate the fart can sound from nameless on cold starts. Remark is definitely the better choice, better quality, sound. In fact i think remark is quieter when warmed up but could be wrong. Thanks for helping me make my choice. 👌
If only Remark offer muffler options like Nameless, but Nameless has also discontinued their offer of double wall burnt tips.... Still think that Nameless' burnt tips look way better than Remark's sliver of blue regardless, so Nameless it is for me.

Miguel R honestly, I looked at them online and the double wall didn't look really dramatically different to me. So I got the single, which I think still looks great. Guess it depends if the visual difference is worth the price to you? Can't beat 255 though!!!!
I talked to Remark this week and we can expect a Mid-pipe from them in January 2018! Still debating on getting the Remark or just saving and going with the Invidia R400
