Devin Larscheid the only solution would be to use Crossbones, Black Widow, or Dr Voodoo to reduce the defensive ability accuracy. Problem is class disadvantage against Nightcrawler and against Spiderman using Dr Voodoo.
Quickshot Gaming I 100% agree. Crossbones was usually my go to for that until I 5/50'd my Gwenpool so I just use her now and play really slow with evade champs lol

Obeed : it's 25% per attack, every attack that probability is refreshed. So every punch you throw his way he has a 1 in 4 chance to dodge it. Pretty good.

I have been experiencing this terribly recently especially later in battles when I am doing really well against a much more powerful champ. I kept thinking the computer was messing with me or I was doing something wrong but now I see that they have these crazy settings and that is what has been taking me out. I have experienced plenty of those skippy animations too so this all makes sense. Thank you for tying it together for us! Have a great weekend :)
In my opinion, the "while attacking" one should include while charging a heavy, if we commit to using a heavy we can't back out of it, neither should they, if the AI decides to hold the charge long enough for you to get an attack in they should be forced to deal with the consequences like we are.
Actually I think you can back out while charging. Charge with your right thumb, while charging, swipe left with left thumb and let go of right thumb. It works with blocking so it might work with heavy charging. I'm not sure tho
Great video, but there are more couple fundamental issues that missed in the video: 1. Auto evade champs can trigger evade in medium combo (this do partially covered :) :) 2. More important issue is auto evade champs can evade second attack of special even if they stunned, for example StarLord lv2, you can Parry or not auto evade champ and trigger sp2, but they still can evade second part
Once again a great description and illustration of one of the many unfair aspects of this game, something built in that is basically a cash cow for the "Game team" and executives. This is why I quit this game after three years of nefs and adjustments and unfair crap. Great job Dave

Also, there are some parrying issues in the game as well. Sometimes you know you parried the guy, but it ends up as a hit and combo into oblivion for the AI. Can you do a video on that as well?
I have always just brought my Dr Strange for the stun immune nodes in wars. He gains power automatically so I just block and evade myself with the auto evade champions until I have my special 3. Can't evade that. Then, as long as its not a debuff immune, I'll attack as normal while the opponent is under fate seal and can't evade. Iceman would also work for those not on debuff immune, just stun immune. As long as you keep the coldsnap active, they cant evade. Crossbones with at least 3 fury stacks. Duped Archangel with 3 stacks of neurotoxin. Ghost Rider after special 1 and 3. The auto evade on stun immune is very annoying and very unfair, but there are waya around it
Hey Dave! Good points. Also they should fix it so that when you are using an auto evade champion like spidey, the mechanics should let a player made parry over ride the passive evasion. Drives me nuts when I try to play offensively with these champs but the possibility of a very crucial fighting mechanic (parry) is taken away from you.
It’s definitely a negative experience when those auto-evades occur and there’s nothing you can really to prevent it except hoping your defensive ability accuracy champs or Iceman can give you an opening.
IMO auto-evading should cost energy... which makes sense IMO... that would prevent Spidey, NC and the others just to jump around that much... say 5-7.5% max energy, so if they evade liek crazy, they cannot fire of a special, or get to an L3
I agree 100 and fifty thousand percent! My opinion is if we can do it, neither should the AI. There’s been countless times where my NC or Spidey would run into an AI intercept and not trigger auto evade. That’s just to name one issue I’ve had playing with an auto evade champ vs against

I have also seen the auto evade trigger mid special and mid heavy attack. Taking AA against a spiderman or NC, AA has a long multi-hit heavy. The first hit makes contact, but the ai has the ability to evade out and attack before the heavy is over.this has also happened with recovery bug in that the first hit lands, but the ai starts to block on hit 2, 3, and 4 leaving the user open.
I totally agree with what is happening, well try fighting Stun immune Spidey black in RTTL 4.3! I bet you can’t get out of it without using any revives!

Use light attacks combo vs auto-evade characters. Even if they evade, it's highly unlikely that you'd be intercepted (i.e. You do 3 light attacks, you hit on the 1st one, he auto-evades on the 2nd one, he tries to attack, he'll get caught by your 3rd light attack). The only gotcha is that if he auto-evades, he can intercept you with a special. So be careful doing this if he has a bar of power.
This is definitely a problem for me because I straight up CAN'T fight nightcrawler for my life! He is my worst nightmare in an arena and makes almost any of the spideys look easy Also, first comment, lol

The instant attack after auto evade is so annoying, i think the A.I shouldn't be allowed to do that 'cause 90% of the time we aren't able to react to this most of the cases when we are fighting very agressive A.I's.
I have had champions auto evade out off connected special attacks. Especially spideman on ronan's specail 2. The first hit off the specail connects and then he evades out mid animation and misses the rest of the damage and the stun.

Spider-Man has a 25% chance to evade when his sig is maxed out, but he be evading like he has a 100% chance like wtf

Nope. I take it back. There is a node in AW with both of those bastards. If you're in tier 4 and above, it's at node 18 on the right of centre path

Evades after taking the first hit of your special.. those are pretty annoying.
