Honestly it’s about time this has happened! I’ve been a judo player my whole life and have dropped in to BJJ gyms a ton through out my life. The biggest difference I always saw was the cultural differences bw the two. Not Brazilians vs Americans per se since a lot of the gyms were run by Americans but the stereo typical hard ass competition lead mindset was at the forefront vs education, learning self improvement etc along with a competitive blended cultures was a stark difference. Recently however as an older dood and going back to BJJ I’ve noticed a marked change in the gyms I’ve seen! They are also using a lot more Japanese recently too!

Oh, entirely. This guy didn't do anything but get lucky with the fact that he got in on the sport early as an american. Up until about 2-3 years ago the only people who were Pros in the sport and were American simply got lucky that they chose a sport where there aren't many real people competing. Now that money is getting kind of involved in Jiu-Jitsu and popularized all over the world and not just brazil, people at Ken and who have no real skills and are actually fairly lazy or being pushed out of the scene by real athletes.
You see the same in every single video game that defines itself as an esport. First you have the initial wave of pro players who are people who got in the beta early and got lucky because they simply played a lot and then eventually, once the game is released about 6 months to a year later the real Pro start showing up and pushing all those lazy people who got lucky because they have clout out of the scene. That's what Keenan is. A clout chaser that has been pushed out of the scene by real pros

Do you still offer video subscription on your website to study techniques? Or is it only the courses?
