I took a risk and bought it blindly and my God it is so beautiful. It's sweet, but not too sweet, fruity but no too fruity. Dark, but not overwhelming. They did a number on this one. My favorite!!!!!!

The one you have is definitely different. The one I have is very rasberry/ berry/ strawberry centered. It has orchid and papyrus too but they are very subtle.
Vanilla orchid is also known as Tahitian vanilla. It blooms so rarely, about every three years, and even then, the bloom only lasts a few hours. Skilled workers must be paid to check for blooms hourly, and there is no room for error in the intensive processing of this flower. Which is the reason for the exorbitant price. The different vanilla's have very unique stories that are worth learning for those interested in fragrances.

@@ayababy5010 Hmmmm I would say, for me, it stands by the vanilla note. Like when you first spray it,you get all the notes (in a good way, not over powering) then like when it dies down, you smell the vanilla like 70% and the raspberry 30%

I know a lot of people classify JPG Scandal as a sexy, mature scent, but my 16 year old daughter, who is a very cool Indie chick, wears it and totally rocks it. She gets compliments, but nobody tells her she's wearing a scent that is too old for her (and she works in hospitality - so deals with the rudest people on the planet on a regular basis)

I just blind ordered full size bottles of Lancome Tresor La Nuit, Tresor La Nuit a la folie, Tresor Midnight Rose. Thing is, I have never smelled a Lancome fragrance before, so IDK what to expect with them. I own over 100 bottles of perfume all designer and niche, so it's pretty crazy that I didn't have a Lancome. Can't wait for them to arrive!
Lancome is such an underrated house, no idea why when their other products are so well known and loved. They know their way around a fragrance, for sure.

Here in Europe for example people don’t like more sweet scents in summer but I personally love it. I recognised that there are a lot of differences in opinions in the world so in case it’s too sweet for now, it’s still a great scent for colder days :) You can maybe go out and get a sample to see how you like it?

For me the color is a rich dark grey with a slightly purple tinge. I laugh at myself because I always think of orange blossom as a purple scent, maybe grapey.

la vie est belle is my signature perfume ive been wearing it daily for two years but i really really enjoy this perfume. i think they have two different vibes that cant really be comapred. la vie est belle has more of a natural scent thats less strong but la nuit tresor is much more strong and mature. love both though
Actually the Vanilla is an orchid (it is the same family) so I guest it is the vanilla absolute which they just ass the scientific name of the plant ...
I wonder if you could do a video deticated to the discontinued fragrance for women by boucheron-jaipur 1994,and posibly recomend some resembling fragrances. First bottle I've bought full price direct from Lancome, my favorite of their regular line. Tried the a la Folie version, it was like the original minus the praline and more vanilla, didn't feel I needed both, sold it.

I get more spice than you describe whether it be incense or patchouli, reminiscent of YSL Black Opium to me. On my skin Jimmy Choo is more tropical/vegetal. Maybe I’ll wear it tomorrow to remind myself. It must be midnight rose I dislike because today I like this one and I thought I remembered not liking it.

I bought this fragrance just recently, and I think it's too much very very sweet, candy like. Almost smells kind of childish it's difficult to explain. You need to smell it to understand. I still prefer Alien
@@gulzar9979 Try it at the counter. One spritz for day, a couple for evenings. I wear mine to work sometimes. It’s lovely. Most certainly not an “older woman” fragrance but it’s sexy, it’s not “cute little girl.” For that I recommend Cloud by Ariana Grande.
I don’t understand how everyone loves this. I don’t like it. There are many other popular perfumes I absolutely can’t stand such as LVEB, YSL min Paris, black opium, Victor n Roff flower bomb, etc. I cannot stand all these perfumes and they smell repulsive to me. Does anyone know what notes they may have in common so I know what notes to stay away from? Or what type of fragrance they all are? I know I love Gourmand scents but for some reason these so called “sexy ones” smell so disgusting to me. They often smell like strong horrible chemicals or like roach spray 🤢🤮 this perfume in particular smells like nail polish remover to me!!!
I think the note those perfumes you’ve mentioned have in common is patchouli. Personally I have and love flowerbomb and la nuit tresor, but I don’t really like the others you’ve mentioned.
I went to the department store just the other day to sniff around having this one in mind. The lady’s working there told me that Lancôme discontinued this and had called for them to pull all of what they had and to shop it back. 😧😢💔
I'm very sorry. I have one female cockatiel atm thinking about getting her a mate. I inherited my father's love bird after his passing. She started my "bird crazy" Sadly, she's nearing the end. Poor thing had a stroke and can't fly anymore. No idea how old she actually is because he found her outside. She landed on his shoulder while he was doing yardwork. Sweetest little bird ever. Caiques are amazing. There's a black capped called Mingo at a shop close by. We fell in love with each other immediately. They want $2,000 for him, so I have to love at a distance, as my partner and I are busy raising 3 teenage boys. The 6 fids I have are plenty right now. Sorry for the novel btw. 😂💙

I don’t understand how everyone loves this. I don’t like it. There are many other popular perfumes I absolutely can’t stand such as LVEB, YSL min Paris, black opium, Victor n Roff flower bomb, etc. I cannot stand all these perfumes and they smell repulsive to me. Does anyone know what notes they may have in common so I know what notes to stay away from? Or what type of fragrance they all are? I know I love Gourmand scents but for some reason these so called “sexy ones” smell so disgusting to me. They often smell like strong horrible chemicals or like roach spray 🤢🤮 this perfume in particular smells like nail polish remover to me!!!

I think the note those perfumes you’ve mentioned have in common is patchouli. Personally I have and love flowerbomb and la nuit tresor, but I don’t really like the others you’ve mentioned.

I went to the department store just the other day to sniff around having this one in mind. The lady’s working there told me that Lancôme discontinued this and had called for them to pull all of what they had and to shop it back. 😧😢💔

You can still find it on Lancome's website. It was reformulated in 2019.

At this stage it was my cockateil, he's sadly passed away, and now we have 2 beautiful Brazilian Caique parrots. They are amazing.
I'm very sorry. I have one female cockatiel atm thinking about getting her a mate. I inherited my father's love bird after his passing. She started my "bird crazy" Sadly, she's nearing the end. Poor thing had a stroke and can't fly anymore. No idea how old she actually is because he found her outside. She landed on his shoulder while he was doing yardwork. Sweetest little bird ever. Caiques are amazing. There's a black capped called Mingo at a shop close by. We fell in love with each other immediately. They want $2,000 for him, so I have to love at a distance, as my partner and I are busy raising 3 teenage boys. The 6 fids I have are plenty right now. Sorry for the novel btw. 😂💙
