Wrong. The proper retaliation would've been to report the initial Game for "stealing intellectual property" as it contained Movie and Book Characters mostly, which none of them probably owned. AND then ruin 'Camel' even more by reporting the illegal wild animals to the authorities.
Oh 100% that. I was JUST thinking "Yo, you have witnessed the squalid living conditions - if its unhealthy for a human there is NO WAY they're keeping animals healthily, and some are illegal... Just call in the feds" *_However, Camel has money of some type and is clearly the petty/obsessive/deluded type of power-hoarder, so that action would have been inadvisable if OP isn't able to handle further fall out._* It's possible that was never considered both to expedite "moving on" entirely from Camel and Chihuahua, and also because of fear of further obsessive reprisals. Could have caused stalker behaviors or even worse aggressions, can't blame them in the end. _I_ would have risked it, for the animal's sake, provided they were truly in poor conditions, but that's on me and I'm pretty sure that would have ended with harassment going on later A La #CreepShowArt
@@MikayaAkyo Nah that's not how that works. The reason Camel was able to DMCA their game was because it was (admittedly) a quasi-copy of the original, aka "her", game. For them to DMCA camel in return, they would need to make some case as to how camel infringed on some intellectual property they own, which they can't. You can't DMCA on somebody elses behalf unless you are authorized by them, so only the copyright holders of the movies and books she lifted from could do that, and they certainly won't care.
I too was there, when the russian army came and stole our land. Leaving us no choice but to migrate to other places. These young-ones don't know how lucky they are that they didn't have to go through that. the confusion, losing track of people you knew, hoping to find them again once new land was found suitable to settle on.
And to this day, they still hold the lands we once held so dear. Our posts were killed, and so many precious fandom groups died upon those shores. Truly, twas almost as bad as the Photobucket Betrayal.

I've never heard of livejournal, never heard of the kind of games he's talking about, and i've never heard of a dmca take down on anything other than youtube or twitch. Still, it's a very unusual set of characters. I feel like this could be turned into a campaign in and of itself. Maybe in call of cthulu. I mean the dirty broken down house in the middle of nowhere, the eccentric wealthy woman with exotic pets, the emotional highs and lows, and the terror of being forced into hiding...yeah, i could see it working.
The thing is, LiveJournal had those policies because they severely misunderstood copyright law. Play-by-post roleplay can't be copyrighted (especially if it's built on someone else's established copyrighted material), and roleplaying by post falls under Fair Use. The only way it could be enforced even remotely the way LJ says, is if the person filing the DMCA was claiming to be the author of one of the books their RP was based on (and LJ staff believed them).
@@epsilon-eleven Worse, they didn't even understand the process the DMCA established, either. If a copyright holder issues a DMCA takedown notice, the individual it was issued against can issue a counter-notice, affirming that the content is non-infringing. After 10-14 days, the service provider can reactivate the claimed content.
How the hell can you “copyright” a play-by-post role play?!?! Especially one based on existing works with actual copyrights and lawyers behind them. LiveJournal in this case was being extremely paranoid for no reason at all. I sincerely doubt any real lawyer or judge would even care about any of this. But pressuring someone to go to court over something as silly as this while giving all the power to the attacker is horrible. It sounds even worse than TH-cam’s system. At least people like IHE were actually able to get their videos back up without Derek Savage or whoever TAKING THEM TO COURT. Sure, that loser certainly threatened legal action, but in this case Camel didn’t have to, LiveJournal made the threat for her.
So the nature of DMCA takedowns means it doesnt matter if the takedown has merit or not. The site still has to follow it. But with a counter notice issued the content in question need only be down for 10 days min. At which point it's up the original claimer to file a court proceeding. Not the defence. My god live journal sounds like trash people.
Wow..Camel and Chihuahua were just awful people and they deserve each other and their nasty little hovel. I just hope the animals were taken away and given proper homes.
You can not be a healthy person and live in those sort of conditions. This is giving me flashbacks to when I visited a relative that lived in a home like Camel's. The only place that was considered livable was the living room couch. Which gave me flees. So yeah. Being so unhygienic should've been one of the reasons OP broke up with Chihuahua.
God I've had friends like this, friends who claim they came up with and own everything and everyone, even if they abandoned it themselves. That spite can last years, I'm glad this game was strong enough for them to continue despite everything thrown at them.
yeah, had a "friend" too. It was fine and nice, till I did 1 thing wrong. No details here, but there was and will never be a chance that he will forgive me. I apologized so many times, offered a new start,... I had forgivin him all his mistakes he did before. Just egomaniacs incable too be emphatic on the smalest level. @@arandomprogger6042 Camels don't really spit, the story said it was because she had a Camel.. Presumably the animal, but it can work as a good description of her.
@@Falloutlover1011 It was a group of people that rented the same house together. The person who ran it, basically turned it into a cult where the people believed they were reincarnations of Final Fantasy characters. The description of the house in this story is reminiscent of what living in the Final Fantasy House was like. There's more to the story, but it's so disturbing. Frederick Knudsen did a video if you want to know more.
I mean one way they've could've moved that DMCA was to inform the copyright holders that someone was claiming ownership of those characters; then Camel would've been buried in that desert beneath a mountain of lawsuits.
I'm 99% sure the DMCA claim technically had nothing to do with the characters being played. Instead it would've been claiming the game itself - the premise of it, the wording used in the out-of-character info pages, etc. Even if it wasn't, trying to get the copyright holders of the characters involved would've been extremely messy. Not worth the huge risk of dragging the people playing the characters into that kind of legal mess. Especially considering this likely happened during a time that it was way more common for anyone doing fanfiction (or similar things like fan RP) to find lawyers coming after them indiscriminately.
@JustDev but NO everyone wants to make sure that their "inventions" and "products" can't be directly copied or ripped off of, pft DISGUSTING! What you make is public property and if someone else wants to make money off of your ideas and determination without having to put in even the slightest bit of effort, you should let them without a moment of hesitation or consideration. Regardless of how much effort you put into making whatever you made.
@JustDev i know and look at how much obviously stolen or copied stuff is in China right now cause there copyright law is practically non existent. I won't deny that it's a more recent thing and people were just fine without it prior, BUT people who invent or create things for profit want to protect their patent and make sure no one is trying to profit off their hard work. As stupid as it seems it's to make sure that people can't just make your products regardless of what they are without permission and without paying the price for it. Also the first copyright law in the USA was made in May 31 1790 so it's more 230 years old not 100.
@JustDev 1. Okay so Disney wanted to keep the rights to the mouse, not surprising 2. A lot of people believe it or not, both corporations and regular people 3. Then please tell that to the US government cause they're still trying to win that war.
Most of livejournal's RPs have moved over to Dreamwidth these days, for those who are curious. And, yes this kind of behavior is common among those games. DMCAs not withstanding. That is new.
As someone who used to use Wattpad for roleplays (now just writing a book), this is 110% accurate Seriously you would not believe how vain people can get.

This story... It uncomfortably reminds me of circumstances I've been through before myself... Twice. The first time was certainly more like on OP's side. The second time... I can't help but wonder sometimes if some of my players view me in a similar way that the players in this story view Camel or Chihuahua. I've got a lot to think about.
Don't know what to tell you.. .To me personally this reeks of "One sided story". There's a few things that pile up toward my conclusion of OP lying or ... "Not sharing the whole story"... While things that support what he said don't add up at all.
At 7:00 this exact same thing happened to me in a G+ community. I had revived are revitalized a community that the owner had abandoned and built it up over the course of a year, then randomly the owner comes back, demotes me, bans me from the group, and then slanders me to with lies to the remaining members. Some people are just major a-holes. Needless to say I had a lot of allies in the group and it quickly became a ghost town again as people saw through his BS and left.
Ah, you sweet summer child, you only know of modern DMCA nightmares? Does the name Anne Rice not fill your heart with fear? You should explore the ancient lore of fandom. The Fanlore, as it's known.
Jesus, the parallels between this crazy woman & an ex of mine I used to live with are INSANELY similar in every way. Every single thing matches up, and I'm not even halfway through the story yet. Her being obsessed with roleplaying - it was truly her one and only interest - abandoning all of her "worlds" when they didn't gain the attention she wanted, constantly reviving said worlds ~9 months to ~2 years later, stripping control from the people working on sites she "hosted" for them (see: they didn't cost her a penny to run, she just set them up, gave mod controls to the "owner," then told them she would never interfere with "THEIR forums," but the moment they did something or affiliated with someone she didn't like, she'd instantly take away their ownership of the world they'd built up, yet she always had the gall to play the victim no matter how badly she treated other people like this), living in nightmarish levels of squalor and filth and act like it was perfectly normal, having 5+ cats & dogs she couldn't take care of and saying she used to own a snake and a tarantula or something like that, having a girl roommate, saying she had a "rich" aunt & uncle, "like, REALLY rich." in her own words, the description of her "never working a day in her life," although my abuser did work at a CVS for a very short while and bragged about stealing from them every week before she quit, being a literal recluse shut-in in her bedroom who never once left the house when I lived with her except when absolutely necessary like having to show up in person to get her license renewed - if she could send me out to do it, like getting groceries, she did 10 times out of 10 to stay indoors - being authoritarian as FUCK with no middle ground, no compromises, no discussions, etc, etc, etc. Living with my ex, who may well be the same psycho in this story, was by FAR the worst period of my entire life. All of this is just the tip of the iceberg; far worse than all of this shit happened, including illegal shit like her posting death threats about me when she knew where I lived. I hope nobody here ever has to deal with a psycho like her.
I do not know you. We have never met and will probably never meet. However, having read your reply it is my sincere hope that your life without her is successful and thriving and that it continues to be so. Abuse can be a difficult thing to talk about and can be a difficult thing to relive. This reply is intended to be an acknowledgment of your suffering, and a genuine hope as a fellow human being that your life continues to improve.
I would say look into support groups for people that have dealt closely with individuals that have Cluster-B personality disorders. That's casting a wide net, but it may help.
It seems that in the way that serial killers can be spotted by recurring personality traits, so can the filthy brats. I too lived with a lazy cruel girl with exotic pets, a wealthy father, and a level of selfishness that at the time, I did not know was possible. But I was not her significant other. That was a friend of mine who made that mistake, who after the break up was called many horrible things that I know for a fact were not true. Friends were lost over the lies. And both of us ended up finding our own destructive ways of coping with the depression we were now in. Also, after finding out we'd lost somewhere around $5000 from the shit she did. The damage done even somehow tore at the friendship me and my friend had. Despite having that "we survived this together" mentality to bond over, we'd both been affected too much. We'd both changed for the worse. Every time one of these stories is shared though we're doing good. Animal hoarding dirty brats need to be talked about and stories shared. Anything to help steer others away from making the mistakes that we did. I really had no idea what a common set of traits there were. Though thinking on it, I can name another person like this, who was a GM I had for an RP. So I kinda had the evidence staring me in the face. So anyone reading this. Look for the signs, and don't feel bad about running. Sticking it out, giving her a chance, that's how you end up on depression medication. Or worse in my friend's case...
Oh good, another video-- time to put this on my 'watch later' for when I drive to work tomorrow. Your vids make my 30 minute drives feel much shorter. You've definitely earned my 'Crab of the Year' award nomination ;D
Sadly this kind of thing is not unusual for RP communities, whether talking play-by-post, chatrooms, DnD or so on. Groups and games like this seem to attract the worst kinds of egoists and they ruin everything around them every time. And since most of the time they're either the one(s) who started the game, friends with the admin, or etc, they rarely ever get slapped down for shenanigans like this. That or the people around them are too cowardly to do anything about it for various reasons. I've seen scenes like this, of varying scale and intensity, over my years of RPing across multiple mediums and different genres. Edit: For example, one of the forums I rped on for quite some time had an admin who had a slow meltdown. She started banning people over increasingly inane and petty things, until a bunch of us started leaving. I learned later she just deleted the whole forum after a while.
I've lost track of the times I've been in a game where the Wife was an awesome storyteller, and the Husband would be just the biggest douchelord over-powered ego tripper who expected everyone to bow down to him.
CritCrab is a hero for putting both videos back to back. Watching the whole story, analyzing the way it was written, and how the person reacted to it, however, I have to say, the writter does not seem to be as emotionally mature as he would have us believe. Did he make the right choice in leaving the game and making a new one of his own? Yes, but far too late. Also, he seemed to act like quite the victim most of the time, when he openly admits to having spent a very long time bonding with Chihuaha by literally being nasty about Camel behind her back. No wonder their relationship didn't work out, if it was built on just being negative about one other person. Another sign of the lack of his emotional maturity, is how he makes casual claims of love, when, in all seriousness, the moment he met the person in RL, the idea of romance with this person he "Loved" faded instantly. Also, the way he shamefully describes their living conditions, you can tell he is just trying to point out to the world anything he can to fling mud at people that made him angry, it's just childish. What does their living conditions have to do with how the story evolved? Nothing. I take this story with a grain of salt, and just hope the writter manages to become more mature some day. TLDR: Author of story is butthurt and pretends to be an adult, when his story proves that he sadly is not just the victim, but also an agressor.
livejournal drama fuels me. it truly ages as fine wine. I never knew of livejournal, but seeing all of these stories paints a war zone that I thrive on.
4:27 Emu... Most vile bird, hell no! as an Australian I can confirm that the Emu's friend (Another native australian animal and the most dangerous bird on earth) the Cassowary is definitely viler.

Oh man, Livejournal Roleplay, I used to be part of that back in the day. Oh god, I used to be part of Livejournal Roleplay back in the day. While I regret 90% of what I did there, I don't regret the experience as a whole. I actually grew up a bit, and also learned about my fav anime Madoka Magica while it was airing. That said, while Livejournal RP often was welcoming and friendly, it had a dark side that was as nasty as you can find on a chan board. I don't recall this particular game at all, but I totally believe this happened. There were a lot of real pieces of work in LJ RP
This kind of mess is not unique to LJ, trust me. I have RPed across numerous mediums, from forums and chatrooms, to DnD and even in games like Starcraft custom maps. This kind of drama can blow up just about anywhere. It just takes one or two crazy egotists to ruin things for the people around them, especially if they're in a position of authority or friends with the authority.
"Hey guys, come over to my house to play D&D while I DM!" "Ok, sure, this is fun!" *DM stops inviting everyone over* "Huh. I guess we could play at my house instead?" *Landlord evicts you* There's no sane RL equivalent of anything like this, lollllllllllll
Man I felt like I just finished listening to an audiobook about into interpersonal drama, and the ending way the MC wrote it certainly made it feel like the ending of a story.
Ahhhh, Play By Post role playing. Takes me back. I got into that when I was a very imaginative 12 year old, with no real outlet. Made some good friends I still talk to today, and sometimes I even miss it. It's been 8 years (around the time I started college) since I really even tried to get back into that scene. I think I've grown out of it since I started writing novels and other solo works, but I still remember it fondly. It's what initially got me interested in writing, a love I still have today.
"the youtuber experience" Yep. That covers it. My channel doesn't even have monitization and somehow still got a copyright claim on a public domain song. Figure that one out.
I'm Scottish and even I know they are vial because I've been to Australia hell there's even the casowary (idk if I spelled that right) that are exotic birds however they are deadly.
He actually could have sent a counter-notice against the DMCA. Camel would have to declare a lawsuit against him within 14 days or else livejournal would have to put it back up. I think it’s pretty irresponsible that the site admins don’t know that. Also thank you for putting both parts in one :) .
Oh wow. As a roleplayer who transplanted from Livejournal to Dreamwidth, listening to this on TH-cam was a trip. The sad thing? It's not even the craziest LJ/DWRP story I've ever heard, or experienced. I'd kinda love to hear more, honestly. Also, based on personal experience and the experiences of others: 9 times out of 10, dating your online RP partner is NOT a good idea.
Oh, livejournal rp drama. How nostalgic. I would like to add, though, that while there was lots of copyright infirngement going on, the bad mods would have grounds for DMCA if they just copy & paste the premise text. From what I remember, pan-fandom crossover games were a dime a dozen there, so just moving games should've been enough. Wonder if there was more to the premise than the usual games, the copyright law was just that bad, or if there was more to the story than just what we got.
Emus can actually be very sweet and great pets if you get them from a young age and take the time to bond with and socialize them. However they need a large field and a lot of space to run. They also make awesome herd guardians as the will protect their territory and “flock” with the rath of 1000 suns. I’ve seen them chase off/kill venomous snakes, coyotes, foxes, etc. but then turn around and run to their humans for head rubs.
Okay, hot take: There HAS to be something important to this story OP is leaving out. The way the Camel acted was weird, but the way that Chihuahua just turned on a dime like that is even weirder, and just left entirely unexplained beyond "They're frens now :D".
Chihuahua was NOT okay with the breakup. They had sex, and then he broke up, and it broke her. But she hid it, or he was oblivious, or he assumed that sadness was normal and called it mutual. Then Chihuahua had no one left to lean on. No one to vent to except.. Camel. Camel who is weird and has power trips. Camel who immediately used this power, and punished OP, in order to win back her 'friend' Chihuahua. Chihuahua wasn't necessarily okay with this punishment, so she contacted him in the ned, but she was still on Camels side by that point. Ex boyfriend bad, girl I live with good. The other part you're missing in Chihuahua is neurotic. That's why the breakup happened so fast. Emotionally broken girls can be *super* attractive online- they are friendly, emotional, submissive, but they have a bite, and act cool. They will often post pics wearing emo/gothic wear that is instant attract to young internet boys of the past. Then once you meet them in person... they're a broken mess and your life is hell now. and if you break up, they [play cool, submissive, and then that bite comes and rip into you. source- my misadvised youth
The whole scenario was a primed self destruct bomb. Best to leave it and get as far away as possible and get behind a solid wall. It was for the best to step away from all of that drama and trauma before it went into nuclear meltdown.
They should add a fairytale monster story made to scare children into the campaign... if children are naughty, a day will come where the trees do not bow, and where the sun does not gaze, if you aren’t careful, the camel might just take you in your sleep, spitting on all your mirrors in the process
This gave me flashbacks to a relationship I had as a teenager. She was an avid LiveJournal user and actually participated in the kind of RP described in the video, except hers was geared towards teen romance settings like Highschool Musical, Mean Girls, etc. It was my first exposure to any RP community, and I'm not going to lie, it weirded me out. She created both herself and me as OCs in her RP, but she played both characters. So, this version of me was a buff, tall jock (I was/am short and fairly unathletic) that just fawned over her all of the time. Not going to lie, I actually did fawn over her a bit irl at first, but I was young and horny, and she was pretty. The relationship ended up not working out because pretty, nerdy girl turned out to be both celebate and a stalker, and teenage me was not getting anything, both physically or emotionally, out of the relationship, so I ended it with her. Her OC of me ended up getting hit by a bus in her RP story, and she would occasionally write about going to the hospital to see me. Of course, she would continuously send these stories to me "to show she cared still", but I had pretty much stopped caring at this point. I definitely was in the wrong here, and I learned a lot from my past mistakes, but I feel like I sort of dodged a bullet at the same time. Luckily, within a year of these events, I would find my own RP commmunity (not on LiveJournal, of course; they have their own website) in the form of a highly detailed scifi collaborative writing setting that fit my own interests and writing style. My experience with this community definitely helped me grow as a writer and RPer, and I am glad that earlier bad experience didn't taint future RP communities for me. It did, however, give me a healthy respect for the female mindset and a bit more wisdom for my future relationships.
This is taking neglet to a whole new level, ambitious people often do this, they like a idea so much they put a lot of effort into it but don't take into the reality of maintaining that idea. I am a fairly new DM and I can say it takes a lot of time and work to make your own world or story for your game and it gets frustrating at times. These people in this story I just heard on this video sound like they have some serious issues with just putting any effort into anything in life.
As someone who grew up in a household like he discribed and now like my home to be clean to the best of ability, your right. Anything fun or getting paid for they put work in but fun things their sparatic. If you have mental issues deal with them, happy things don't fix them. Clearly these two saw it as okay when in fact it's terrible. They need help and RP is only making them feel better sometimes numbing a wound that has a bullet still in it as a solution will just lead to to having the hole and void inside you bleed for much longer. Sometimes you need to feel that pain pull out the toxic peice of metal and sow it back up. These two clearly want to lesson the effects but even that is effecting other people.
@@wonderstuck-gg Its more complicated then that, These two in this story have no purpose that drives them in life other then just having others do it for them and taking credit. The work part is what they dont want to do but that is whats a important part of life, you work for something and you feel good that you finished it giving that sense of fulfillment. Thats a basic way of looking at it. The fulfillment without the work feels like a void.
Pretty interesting story. But at first I thought it was going to turn out that Camel and Chihuahua were the same person, and OP got catfished. Now that would have been good.
IANAL: Technically the site is correct in that they cannot take sides and get in the middle of it, BUT, the DMCA provides a counter notice mechanism to claim something is not infringement. After receiving the counter notice, the site "should" put the content back up (or allow it to be restored by the account holder), then it's up to the claimant to file a suit to prove infringement.
I came upon this video feed, One day now fore Christmas eve, And though DM was crappy, I went away no longer crabby, On this cold December morn, Off to pop some fresh popped corn

I am subscribed already, but I want you to know that I gave you that thumbs up specifically because you were the bigger TH-camr and put both parts in one video. We don't deserve you CritCrab, your videos make my day every time I tune in.
Yeah, a bathroom mirror like that is a pretty big red flag. And then, on top of that, chihuahuas shifting allegiances? That's a red flag so big, it's become the ships main sail. Abandon ship. Swim for shore.
Alright. An Emu being called the most vile of all birds is a travesty upon Australia. I mean, compared to the Ostrich, it is far superior in almost every fashion.
Honestly, giving a girl a list of things she's done wrong is a good sign that you're not exactly in the right, and it doesn't show a ton of maturity if you can't even take it in return. Not saying this guy is bad or anything, just... I hope people know that there's a better way to go about that.
After everything that happened, she didn't even deserve a list, let alone an opportunity to clapback, especially when she was the one to ask him what she did wrong in the first place.
@@asioca1992 From my understanding from reading all the comments, OP and Chihuahua had a physical relationship when he visited her then dumped her when he went back home. I don't blame her for having some sort of hate towards him since he did used her for some quick fun. Maybe he did wanted to be with her but saw the state of her place and how she was in real life, but still... Doing that then leaving saying it won't work out is pretty harsh.
This post gave me serious "final fantasy house" vibes. I am surprised the girl didn't tell him that they were their characters reincarnated in real life
Having dealt with a somewhat similar situation, it's at least nice to know it's not just me that's had to deal with that specific brand of crazy. Thank you for sharing your story.
I was only listening, and was wondering if 20 minutes really went by that quickly lol. But this, this was something alright. I wonder where the game ended up though. And what character everyone was.
Back in the day when LiveJournal was still a thing, RPGs could survive for 5+ years. I never RPed on LJ, but on places like ProBoards and InvisionFree (now Jcink). Nowadays, play-by-post RPGs like this are lucky to see 6 months. I imagine the game went on for quite a while but ultimately died, as is the fate of all games. 🤷🏽
CritCrab, I just wanted to say that I've finally given you the gift of my sub. In this day and age, it is so noble of you to put both parts of the post in one video. I applaud such an honorable decision, and feel that it's the least I can do to return that kindness. Carry on, you bastion of good will and chivalry. May your endeavors bear many delicious, perfectly ripe fruit ready for the TH-cam plucking.
This sounds extremely familiar. Online play by post community. Romance among mods. Split up. Crazy ex boots mod from site. Mod creates on version. Two sites with identical premises functioning at same time. Copyright suit. Eventual death of both sites. Yes, very familiar indeed. Even the dynamic with the third party Wolf matches perfectly my experience. In fact at the beginning of the video I was certain I was directly involved. A few lines in the second half made me realize that this story is not written by who I thought it was, a few of the details are off. But I find it fascinating that this sort of thing could happen twice.
I can't help but think that Camel was using Chiwawa's account to say those things to break them apart. I do think the OP could have talked it out with her a bit more.
Oh yeah, I'm honestly trying to remember if I ever read about this incident on the old wankgate logs. I feel like I have, but I wasn't in the game(s) that I'm thinking of that it might have been, so I can't be sure, and it's all "word of mouth" to me.
The setting of this reminds me of old webcomic forum shenanigans I used to be a part of. It didn't end sourly, just sadly. When the creator of the webcomic started to drift away from his work, I took it onto myself to create a freeforum for it, and myself and other diehards for the comic continued our cringey teenage shenanigans and stuff there, and it was fun. At one point the creator came back, and asked if I would allow him to use the forum for his webcomic, which I agreed to (though it definitely seemed like he thought it was a tad cringey [and it was]), but it wasn't long before he went eternally silent on the comic again, saying that he was just too busy to continue anymore. I think that's understandable. Burnout, especially when your heart just isn't in it anymore, is a very real thing. But for what it was, it was a good time, made a few good friends there, some of whom I still play games with. Moral of the story: Some things never change, time flows like a river, and history repeats. It doesn't matter WHEN you were a teenagers, be it in the 2020's, the 2010's, or the 2000's... anything you do and say back then will be cringey and borderline painful to you as an adult.... and you'll still always look back on them fondly.

It sounds like Camel feeds on drama. She only became interested when there was drama to feed on and when it wasn't there she left (both times)
If anything, proves how broken the DMCA system is. Glad it's turned out for the better.
@@epsilon-eleven ... And even then, the copyright would really only apply if they were using text from the book.

I mean one way they've could've moved that DMCA was to inform the copyright holders that someone was claiming ownership of those characters; then Camel would've been buried in that desert beneath a mountain of lawsuits.
Technically it was Camel who filed the lawsuit, but since Chihuahua was living with her, I get what you're saying

Jesus, the parallels between this crazy woman & an ex of mine I used to live with are INSANELY similar in every way. Every single thing matches up, and I'm not even halfway through the story yet.
Her being obsessed with roleplaying - it was truly her one and only interest - abandoning all of her "worlds" when they didn't gain the attention she wanted, constantly reviving said worlds ~9 months to ~2 years later, stripping control from the people working on sites she "hosted" for them (see: they didn't cost her a penny to run, she just set them up, gave mod controls to the "owner," then told them she would never interfere with "THEIR forums," but the moment they did something or affiliated with someone she didn't like, she'd instantly take away their ownership of the world they'd built up, yet she always had the gall to play the victim no matter how badly she treated other people like this),
living in nightmarish levels of squalor and filth and act like it was perfectly normal, having 5+ cats & dogs she couldn't take care of and saying she used to own a snake and a tarantula or something like that, having a girl roommate, saying she had a "rich" aunt & uncle, "like, REALLY rich." in her own words, the description of her "never working a day in her life," although my abuser did work at a CVS for a very short while and bragged about stealing from them every week before she quit, being a literal recluse shut-in in her bedroom who never once left the house when I lived with her except when absolutely necessary like having to show up in person to get her license renewed - if she could send me out to do it, like getting groceries, she did 10 times out of 10 to stay indoors - being authoritarian as FUCK with no middle ground, no compromises, no discussions, etc, etc, etc.
Or worse in my friend's case...
...your friend is dead, aren't they...?

All of *this* over a game. You can really see the ego on Camel and her corrupting influence.

Ah, I see Nintendo was playing a D&D game.
"No. This isn't how you're supposed to play the game."

There's no shame in leaving a relationship with someone who only takes.
I’m always amazed people stay in these situations as long as they do
If I went home with a girl and her home looked as described, I would turn around and walk right back out immediately.
I can usually suspend my disbelief, but this story is so beyond unbelievable it's kinda funny.
This is some high level of disgusting abuse, i want to say.

"Damn girl, you live like this?"
Wolf: "Who are you?"
Chihuahua: "I'm you, but improved through centuries of selective breeding by humans!"
Wolf: *Chomp!*
I came upon this video feed,
One day now fore Christmas eve,
And though DM was crappy,
I went away no longer crabby,
On this cold December morn,
Off to pop some fresh popped corn
Always enjoy these stories and makes me glad that I have (roughly) the same group of players since high school (20 years ago). Two of my best friends, my brother, and one of my friend's future brother-in-law.
Also gotta say, loved seeing you pop in on JoCat's video! Nice polymorph!
CritChad needs sunglasses.
A pair on each eyestalk.
I am subscribed already, but I want you to know that I gave you that thumbs up specifically because you were the bigger TH-camr and put both parts in one video. We don't deserve you CritCrab, your videos make my day every time I tune in.
After hearing all these stories you can just tell when one is written by "that guy".
Yeah, a bathroom mirror like that is a pretty big red flag. And then, on top of that, chihuahuas shifting allegiances? That's a red flag so big, it's become the ships main sail. Abandon ship. Swim for shore.
Me: Critchad doesn't exist, he doesn't exist
Critchad:
Me: *_Scream_*
Alright. An Emu being called the most vile of all birds is a travesty upon Australia. I mean, compared to the Ostrich, it is far superior in almost every fashion.
They did lose a war to them after all
Honestly, giving a girl a list of things she's done wrong is a good sign that you're not exactly in the right, and it doesn't show a ton of maturity if you can't even take it in return.
Wish I could give you an extra like for sacrificing a second episode for the greater good! Thank you CritCrab!
"CritChad here!" 🤣🤣🤣
*C R I T C H A D*
Your sacrifice is noble, the crab gods will reward you.
8:51 *The fire nation would like to know your location*
Your sacrifice is well appreciated, may it further your heroic deeds and push you further into the pantheon of legends.

Me: Gonna need my Trooper beer for this one.
I read your username and now the song is in my head again. XD
What an absolute pair. They deserve each other
Yeah, this sounds like some classic Live Journal shit
Oh yeah, I'm honestly trying to remember if I ever read about this incident on the old wankgate logs. I feel like I have, but I wasn't in the game(s) that I'm thinking of that it might have been, so I can't be sure, and it's all "word of mouth" to me.
Sacrificing double the views for the greater good. You killed me with that absolutely loved it.
Gosh I will never cease to be both amazed and disgusted by the level of pettiness humans are capable of. It's almost vomit inducing.
