I don't think there will ever come a time where I hear this song and not fully breakdown because of the grief of what could have been, the melancholy of an old love you can't get back, and the longing for a lover who is now long gone. All of those emotions in one song. What broke me from the movie was when Birdy came to Jiahan's house. "Who's the coward now, huh?" and Jiahan nods fully understanding what Birdy wanted to happen. And right then and there he was willing to give everything up for this pure love that he had. I love them both to death and how I wish they had the chance to grow old together. Their pure love. Them.
