Sweet lady indeed, unique tutor on U Tube.
God bless you. A well detailed explanation.
You are a good teacher
Thanks for the tutorial
You deserve a million stars. The best part about this video is you showed results on your body at the end which is most important to know if the instructions are effective. I’ve tried so many different methods, but this by far is the best, most accurate and fits perfectly. The others videos I always had to adjust several times. May blessing pour on you.
This is the best bodice tutorial ever.

Pls, there's this style I need u to u help me on.
Thank you so much madam. Please, If you don't want to create burst dart, is it right to measure from front to get the waist or from back. Or what is the best way to get waist measurement with burst dart or without burst dart. Your teaching is very Clear but I'm still confused the best to be used. Your reply will help me alone. Thanks ma
Thanks for clarifying
After watching and replicating bodice patterm tutorials
Yours is the one that finally made me succeed ❤️❤️❤️❤️ except on the zipper part hahahah I'm still new to sewing and messed that part up, it doesnt seem to align when I zip it
But i tried to clip it instead when I tried my sewn pattern on and it fits like a glove ❤️
Next to your sleeve pattern
Awesome fit. Thanks.
Most welcome.....thanks for watching too
Please kindly leave your questions here.... I will be
glad to answer you!
Yhinksweet ladies place Arm hole measurements is a big challenge for plus size. How do I take measurements for it. U didn’t say. Thanks 🙏🏾
Pls the 1” u added to the side waist from the bust and waist measurement in making your waist dart won’t it make the waist 2”extra when u cut the full block. Won’t it make the waist big when you want a fitted garment
This is awesome I haven't seen this kind of bodice before. Indeed you are the best...
Please madam how can I construct bustier paded blouse using this perfect bodice block thanks
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, after adding the burst dart allowance, the CF use to be longer than the CB how do I eliminate the excess in front part
Kindly Watch the video and follow the instructions on the video and you will see everything will be perfect
By the time the bust dart is sewn together the front and back length will be equal......
Awesome
Did you add sewing allowance for the side dart
It wasn't cut out
Absolutely amazing! I love the detail and the explanations, FINALLY, there is an example on seam allowances, transfer to fabric, AND sewing the darts. This is the first tutorial I have found where this is done and I've watched endless hours on youtube. You are an amazing teacher and I cannot wait to make some tops/dresses.
Thanks sis
Thank u for this tutorial. If i am adding a collar to my bodice, do i need to keep half inch allowance around the neckline? I noticed that u did not keep any allowance around your neckline.
Yes, 0.25 inch ,
When you took the 1/2" from the center back, why didn't you add it back on the other side? Doesn't that affect the waist measurement if you don't add it back?
It doesn't
What if I don’t want the front side dart, what do I do with the difference
You can move the side dart to armhole or shoulder to make it a princess dart
I just wonder if u included the dart size to your bust to waist measurement..because if you close the bust dart it wil reduce the size
The bust dart is the difference between front waist length and back waist length.....watch the video of how to take measurements and come back to practice this , and you will be amazed how beautiful your bodice will be ......it's tested and trusted, I am a bespoke tailor so I practice what I teach everyday......... we're located at shop 342 El-rufai block Garki international market Abuja
@@abujatailor thank you so much for replying.
Pls the 1” u added to the side waist from the bust and waist measurement difference in making your waist dart won’t it make the waist 2”extra when u cut the full block. Won’t it make the waist big when you want a fitted garment
No, kindly watch again u will understand better ( waist dart is the difference between bust and waist; the excess will be shared between side seam and waist dart)
Do the standards work for full figured women. Im a 40 j bra size(us) my bust circumference is 52 inches. And of cource my measurements are diffent than smaller sizes. Do I follow the same instructions?
No, you will have to work with your measurements,
@@abujatailor ok. Thank you
I wrote down all the measurements u had however the 24 wasnt part of ur measurement where did this come from and @ 7:59 the second line drawn across where did that measurement come from
24" is standard hip measurements
The line is the middle of the block and it demarcate the back from the front
If d difference between back n front was over 3 inches
Miss pl. tell me how 18.5÷2=9.25 was taken . 18.5 what???
It's calculation
@@abujatailor pl explain how to take 18.5
@@abujatailor Please explain where the 18.5 came from that you used to get 9.25 (for the chest line). Which circumference measurement was 18.5 please?
Здорово!!!
The best tutorial i have ever watched. Awesome! Thank you❤️
Thanks sis
Great tutorial! Can’t wait to try it. I do have a question though. Do I add the ease I would like to have to my measurements before drafting the block? Thanks in advance😊
Thanks great job. How to draft a bra.pls
