after saving boopkins from the well, he knew what it was to be liked by everyone in the mushroom kingdom, he used this as an opportunity to advertise his soundcloud whilst in the helicopter, because he was liked, people paid, it wasn't the carnival money, that was used for something else but I can't remember
I may be the only person to notice this but... I honestly love how SMG4 characters went from being mindless, flat, (but still entertaining) joke machines, to gradually getting a sense of progression that builds up based on the continuity of past episodes. For instance:
1) Bob is still a self-centered a-hole, but he's slowly showing signs that he DOES value his friends.
2) Saiko is similar to Bob in that aspect, but she's not as violent as before thanks to Luigi, and she reconciled with Fishy.
3) SMG4 might have a crush on Tari.
4) Bowser isn't as "evil" as he used to be.
5) And Mario... _ok maybe not Mario._
The point is, these characters have dimension to them now. And it makes them all the more interesting to see them interact with each other and get into random shenanigans.
Boopkins is uh, is...is uh just like mario, pretty much the same.
Mario has cared more about other people and helping people after the first T-pose zombie apocalypse
Yeah, i've noticed that, especially, during and after the Waluigi arc, there's been some good attempts at defining these characters more. Now that you mention it, I've noticed all those points recently

This may jump out to you for being a little... odd, but I feel like the "If Mario was in..." Series could be expanded to not just having videos about Mario being in other games/movies/etc, but others as well.
Description: SMG4 is scrolling through the internet to complete his daily dose of memes, until he sees a video from the Wario Bros, who are going at it yet again by introducing "da sexeh box." He goes to their house to try the box out, but the whole thing turns out to be a scam (You probably guessed this right now since this does come from the Wario Bros), as "da sexeh box" is actually a multi dimensional black hole, which sucks him in, sends him to Flipside and he starts his journey in this different Super Paper Mario story.
*Easter 2019: The Easter Eggland*
Description: A new special kind of chocolate egg is harvested in the castle's garden by Princess Peach only for Easter, but once Toad tries it out, it turns out to be drugged and causes people to hallucinate, welcoming them to the Easter Eggland. Later on, Luigi, Meggy, Bowser, and many others try out the new chocolate eggs, but they all end up like Toad.
*Mario VS Tari*
Description: Since Tari's a cyborg, she must have her body be a part of AI, right? Well, one day, she suddenly turns self aware, and starts a rebellion against SMG4 and the crew. Mario says that she and "sum stupid artificial intelligence" ain't gonna take over the world that same day, and they start their battle. In the end, Tari wins with her Expert Mode, but she collapses and finds herself back home. It turns out she never turned self aware or evil at all, but she was rather possessed by SMG3, who was watching the battle the whole entire time. When everyone finds this out, SMG3 is kicked in the balls by literally every single main and major character offscreen.
The battle between Mario and Tari is set up like a Dragon Ball Z Battle rather than a fan made Mario-styled battle. Imagine Mario being Goku and Tari being Vegeta for this instance.
However, I don't think this should be the special on December 5th, 2018. I think this could be done in the following year, 2019 or later.

Tari and "Wayne"
Tari bumps into her gaming instructor (that samurai guy who I'll address as Wayne) and years have passed. Now, the bumped into each other and Tari shows "Wayne" the Gang. Meggy assumes it's her long lost related one but Saiko cowers in fear for what dark lore he has gone through and how much power he has
Your 1st and 4th suggestions are the best ones in my opinion.
the sad thing about suggestions is that once being suggested they will never happen, they make original ideas, and would definitely not use a plot people have read about since there is no surprise but nice ideas anyhow
