Love the baseball content!! With is being 20 years since the Red Sox broke the curse, a recap of the 2004 playoffs would be awesome! I’d also love to hear about the meteoric rise of the Savannah Bananas.
Couple ideas 1.) Bills losing 4 super bowls in a row 2.) Len Bias video. He was one of the best college prospects and was regarded as a future all star. He then went through a multitude of issues after being drafted 2nd overall to the Celtics, and eventually passed away from drug usage. Might be a little too grim for this channel but it’s a good story!!
i think something kinda interesting is that peter seidler, the late padres owner, was apparently organizing a group of owners to vote against the As move to vegas before his death. the vote ended up essentially being a formality but i wonder how different this story would’ve gone had the voting block against the move been effectively organized
I feel bad for any A’s fans but the city failed to give them a new stadium the whole time they were in Oakland and a few years ago they were one of the best teams in baseball and didn’t even draw as many people in as the Pirates did who weren’t very good. It’s really easy to blame ownership but truthfully this is mostly the city government’s fault
As an A's fan since I could remember watching baseball the relocation hurts but I'm just glad Oakland didn't let Fisher walk all over them trying to get the team to stay. Any deal that kept them in town would've just made Fisher even richer and given Oakland nothing in return. I'm torn on seeing them play because I know I only have one more season at the Coli but I don't wanna give management a dime. Heartbreak all around but I think I have to see one last Battle of the Bay. The saddest part of all this is if the Vegas relocation falls through the team will have moved for nothing and I doubt ownership is going to suddenly start caring to spend money on fielding a team so Oakland based fans get robbed, Sacramento gets a team with one of the worst records in the league, and all the other MLB teams are stuck visiting a tiny minor league stadium whenever there's an A's "home game". Lose lose for everyone.
I saw this at work and had to comment. As a SF sports fan (niners/warriors/giants/sharks), with these re-locations we've kinda lost a piece of sports rivarly. I feel bad for oakland fans as they've had it rough for the last couple of years. Niners-Raiders games aren't the same and I imagine Giants-A's games aren't gonna be much of a thing.
YES! It's never fun to see your rivals fall like this. My Senators' rivalries have died out in the last decades because we haven't been able to keep up. And I always say I wish Sunderland would get back to the Premier League because the rivalry with Newcastle doesn't really matter while they're in the lower leagues.
Off topic, but I just watched the UFC 300 press conference and I legit thought you were Marina Rodriguez. Its pre cool that you look a lot like her lolll
Being from the SF Bay Area, I wish the As could stay in Sacramento. Obviously, it would suck for the local fans, but Sacramento isn’t too far to drive to and they have a fan base there that I think would provide more support than received in Oakland. Pretty passionate fans in the Sacramento area haha. Like, have you met a Kings fan or River Cats fan? Very loyal 😂 Also, I remember the San Jose move teaser. I was hyped because the Sharks and Earthquakes were the best sports to see in the area, at the time, but I think the As would have done super well, yet I was let down. I still think San Jose is perfect because of how big the city is and how much space is available, and the airport. However, Sacramento would a great home for them. Then, maybe we can get a new expansion MLS team up here since San Diego is getting one 😏
I think I like the idea of the reverse boycott. A direct show of how many people who care and will be there on the ground matters a lot and is much better for sending a message than just small numbers and the camera finding a couple people with paper bags over their heads. I certainly don't know if it's the best approach, but stands full of people wearing SELL shirts leave no doubt versus only estimating how many fans might attend with a change in ownership to somebody who'll care.
I thought of you IMMEDIATELY. As you say, it wasn't unexpected... but a part of me is still in denial and waiting to hear that it was all just a rumour!
@@asmrcarine Sad day for AZ fans. I'm curious about the rebranding. They really about to take away some of the cleanest jerseys in all of hockey :( But hopefully it turns out for the best for the players.
Selfishly, because I have family in Vegas so I frequent the city, I’ve always wanted to see pro sports come to the city. I figured baseball would definitely be the last one there due to gambling and baseball’s historically bad relationship. So part of me is glad baseball is moving into the Vegas market, but a large part of me doesn’t want the A’s to move from Oakland. They’re arguably one of the most historic franchises in the sport, and are iconic just in general so it’s disappointing that they’re leaving the city. Oakland fans are really passionate about the team but their owner is just not good at all, basically holding the team hostage. Just a really bad situation overall
@@asmrcarinethat’s a really good question. From my experience of going so often, the golden knights are really a locally supported team in part because they are a product of Vegas but they still draw in some tourists. Football being played on Sundays/Mondays primarily allows for a lot of traveling time for fans to go for a weekend and come home after the game. Many many many more tourists are raider fans for sure and the locals I’ve spoken with since the move happened weren’t exactly thrilled to receive a transplant team rather than one of their own.
4 straight days of uploads, Carine is on the grind 🫡
We're going for 5 and then taking Saturday off! 🍹
Ciel? I was wondering what had happened to you. Happy to see you are back and well!

i am loving these frequent uploads :D thank you for the consistent high quality videos :3
Thank you, Reese! 😊💙
So many videos, so many days in a row, what a great week!!
Today I found out you are still making ASMR videos 😮 So glad you are back, and very happy to see that talk about football (soccer) sometimes. Love it
Thank you, G 😊 I spend way too much of my personal time thinking about football... might as well record some of it! Haha

Also the Giants beating the undefeated Patriots in what was one of the most legendary super bowls ever, after they barely made the playoffs
The 4 days straight of uploads have made my week 🙏

Super interesting! Thanks for your comment :)
Looks like it’s time for an Arizona Coyotes relocation saga video once more details emerge.
As a Royals fan, I feel bad for the fans of any small market team, but my goodness the A's just take mismanagement to a whole 'nother level😂
I wouldn't wish John Fisher on my biggest rivals 😂

Would LOVE an ASMR video of you doing the immaculate grid!
I'm scared. I'm very scare. I'll do it 😅
@@asmrcarine You got this! and you could do it often as a recurring video, different sports, etc. would be awesome

Good point! Fisher wouldn't have stayed unless he had a LOT to gain (and a lot more than in any other market).

Not a bad take! That might be the best outcome for everyone 😅
You should do a video on the Disgrace of Gijón at the 1982 World Cup between West Germany and Austria
Diehard A’s fan. We’re dying a slow death. FJF

Great POV! I agree that it's the best of both options :)
You should do a video on the whole Coyotes saga!
Writing this down! (Salt Lake is calling...)
Thanks!
Your support means the world! 💙
@@asmrcarine you’ve put me to sleep many times. I really appreciate the effort you put into the sports history videos!
idk a single person in Vegas who wants the A's here. But we DO have to pay the billions it takes to build their stadium, regardless, so 👍🏻 thanks lol
Maybe they'll thank you with a voucher for a free hot dog or smth 🤷♀️
😂😂😂 *mayyybe* @@asmrcarine

Idk if you could fit it into one video, but a video on the steroid era would be awesome!
Yeah, that one might have to be a multi-parter ;)

I do wonder what percentage of the attendance at Raiders and Golden Knights games are tourists. Sad to see such an historic franchise move for sure!

You should do a video on Jim Harbaugh’s career to date on the chargers
Perfect for a Shorts video 😂
You should do a video on the Timberwolves owner drama!
Noted! Thanks MSA :)
Okay, but the A’s will win it all this year, which will make everything better🙏🏽
Storyline complete
Please do a review on the previous champions league matches🙏🏼
GO SENS GO
We'll get 'em next year 🥲
I don’t want the A’s in Vegas. A’s should stay in the Bay Area and Vegas should get an expansion team.
yayyyy
What'd I tell ya! 😉
I can't believe the Dallas Cowboys don't play any better because everyone hates their owner.
Quite right. What did Finley have that Jones doesn't??
Smh, guess you might have another Vegas stadium to add to your list to visit!
I better visit soon before they keep adding stadiums!!
