Taking our son home was where it really hit us. We have this little human in our house. It was such a great feeling and all the anxiety we had leading up to it was just gone. All the work you put into it, you just do because you have to. It's truly a labor of love. We too got lucky in that our son would just get up once in the night to feed and diaper change and we could sleep until about 5:30-6:00 in the morning. Now he's like a machine, gets up at 6:30, no matter what time zone. He's almost 9 now and that time seemed so short and I can barely remember him as a baby. So enjoy every single second. They say it goes fast for a reason. Don't blink.
This is very similar to when my first son was born. Back in1988, there wasn't suction, just forceps which left marks on his head for years. We had the same anxiety moments where he his heard nearly stopped. The birth took a long time and finally they had to do bring her into the OR to either do an episiotomy or C section. The doctor decided on the episiotomy because we really wanted a natural birth. It all worked out in the end, literally.
Meg, sending you so many hugs and positive vibes! Seeing you cry takes me back to five years ago when I gave birth to my son. It wasn’t easy-I cried a lot too, overwhelmed by hormones and the baby blues, feeling vulnerable and hopeless at times. But now, when I look back, I remember how beautiful those first months were. You’re surrounded by a wonderful, supportive husband and family. Cherish these moments-they’ll become precious memories. Congrats to both of you!
Congrats! Our 3rd (and last child, a boy - after two girls) was a literal horror movie. He wouldn't drop, so they pumped my wife full of liquids. When his head finally came out, the Dr saw that his cord was wrapped around his neck (this is what was preventing him from dropping). I could see the fear on the Dr's face, and she rushed in to pull the cord from around his head. As she did that, the cord broke!! Blood was squirting EVERYWHERE! It looked like a horror film. She quickly grabbed clamps because it's two open arteries. He's finally out (thank God) and he's ok...no issues. But then they found that his cord was fused to the placenta. This Dr is one of the BEST in Atlanta, and in 30 years she had never seen a cord rip or fused into the placenta. NOT COOL to have any "firsts" in a delivery. lol. Mom and Son ended up just fine though 🙂
Our second was supposed to be a planned c-section but my wife’s uterus started tearing and it ended up being an emergency at 5 in the morning. The cord was wrapped around her neck and our doctor didn’t show up. A random doctor who was there (and who was wonderful) delivered our baby girl and everything was fine. Because it was an emergency, we didn’t have time for an epidural so with general anesthesia I wasn’t allowed in the surgical suite (even though I’m a healthcare provider). With our first, I was allowed there to cut the cord and hold him first. Thankfully, everything turned out fine and my wife had a much faster recovery since she didn’t go through hours and hours of labor.
Thank you for sharing this delicate and difficult part of the birth’s story (I cried with you). We’ll have our second one the next year and maybe this will help. The love that you are showing for the baby is awesome. Love you guys and Monty please keep sleeping ahahah.
So when i was born, my mother had the worst contractions so they had to put her to sleep and when they put her to sleep well they said that I would not be alive because of whatever and what happened after all when I was born and it came out my mom's room while the umbilical cord came out and obviously was cut but when they said that I was not going to be able to survive my mom prayed to God and when she prayed to God and the next day she got her prayer answer. Because I wouldn't be supposed to be talking to you right now Steven Meg because I had something called a baby virus that kills majority of babies I am super grateful to be here on this Earth and enjoy all of it because we're here for temporary reasons but we're here for an amazing good experience of life that's what life is to have experience enjoy in after all these things that's what's most important of life I wish you a beautiful life Journey with this little baby congratulations from the bottom of my heart I really have happiness for you guys. ❤❤❤
My firstborn was a still born It's so incredibly sad and horrible & the next time I had my son he was breathing almost like your experience he was stuck but, unfortunately, I had to get a . C section. Because he kept going completely silent on the monitor, but it took 8 seem like forever once they got him out for him to actually breathe and start crying, so I 1000 percent agree it's so scary, but he's healthy, happy and you guys did amazing😊😊😊
Congrats guys!! I had a baby a month ago. 10/25, I was suppose to be induced 11/4 but his fluids were low. I was at my appointment 10/24 and they said you are having your baby tomorrow. C section was scary baby was doing great until he had to be under the blue light for 24 hours next day he pass his tests we got to go home the next day. He was 7lbs and 15oz 19”. At 37 weeks and 6 days. Still recovering from the c section 🥲 but baby is perfect! His name is Caleb Jesus (CJ)
I'd love to see Daily routines with baby boy now., Vlogs.. Shoot I'm down for anything content with y'all being amazing parents how is scout doing as a big brother? ❤❤
When my daughter was born, her heart had stopped. It took 10 minutes of resuscitation manœuvres to get her heart beat again. I was looking at it all the whole time. She had major brain damages and now has severe cerebral palsy. She will never walk or talk and is fed through a G-tube. This event has destroyed her life and mine and her mother’s as well. This is the very definition of DRAMATIC.
We had a bit if trauma on my daughters birth so i get how scary it is! Especially since i am a real worrier!! i could do it over again! Grow up so damn fast!!
Oh boy, I went through something very similar. Everything that could go wrong DID go wrong! Starting with the catheter (my son was pressing/pinching by bladder and I was not able to urinate). (3) nurses tried to insert it. Nope. Had to get a doctor to do it. Then I tested positive for strep B and my baby boy’s heart rate plummeted. After a failed epidural I pushed for over an hour in excruciating pain. Forceps came out. No such luck. Doctor had to use the vacuum. It looked like she was playing tug of war! He finally came out……giving me a 4th degree tear. Yep, you read it right. Then I started hemorrhaging while one of the nurses was pushing VERY hard on my belly (this was worse than the contractions) to try to get the placenta out. That was easily a 10 min process. They almost wheeled me out into the O.R. because I lost so much blood. It was a horrific experience. Sorry for the LONG story (I’m sure I’m forgetting a few things). 🩵 ~ I’m so glad Monty is OK and thriving 🙏🏻 Congratulations!
So my baby story started at 6 months , I foundout late. Was a complete surprise 😮 . I hadn't falling in pregnant in 11 yrs so wasn't expecting 😅. Anyways flash forward, drs kept saying he was measuring BIG!! So they decided they wanted to induce me. I came in at 5-6 o'clock, I was 1 cm dilated. They inserted the balloon to open my cervix up. And planned to induce the next morning. By 9:30pm that night I was getting pretty good cramps so I told the drs. They weren't concerned they sed it would b the balcon doin it's job. About 10 my water broke so I called in the nerse to look as it was green 💚. So he had pood. Was a sign if distress. They took me straight into the birthing sweat and started me in the inducing stuff and monitored his heart rate. They ended up placing it on his head as my moving was making it hard to read his heart rats. I sat there watching friends on TV. It gor to the stage where rhe Nurse sed I should start using the gas. She sed my body had started doin wat it needed to so I didn't need to be inducing stuff. So ended up being partially indexed. At 5-6am I had 2 new nurses take over and the other nurse was just going through stat's. I let them know I needed to go toilet they just sef wait 😅 . Obviously the contractions started getting stronger but really ok still. I told them I wanted an epidural as i thought it would get way worse and that was just my birth plan, he got held up. I finally was allowed to go toilet and I was sorta pushing different to poo. They asked if I was having my baby and I sed maybe lol. They got me back to the bed. I was like 8cm dilated. I kept waiting for the epidural dr. He finally came but by then I was pretty in the thick of contractions and he wasn't able to get a clear shot. They sed we will have another look. Told me he was coming and the epidural wouldn't work well. I think his head was starting to come out by the look on their faces. So progressed alot. Then I was told to just start pushing when I had contractions. They sed I wasn't pushing as hard cause of the gas and not to use the gas with my next one 😅, so I didn't and just pushed, then I heard my baby ❤ he was smaller than expected and healthy ❤ he came at 8:17am so not super long labour and really lucky as i wasnt in excrusiating pain. It was sureal. I was just tired by the end. That's my story. 😀. So happy for you guys!! Enjoy parenthood 🎉
It didn’t go as we expected but the outcome was beautiful. Love you guys ❤

Imagine people believing in something so evil like Abortion when you see incredible babies like Monty!
Imagine thinking others' health is any of your business!
@@thegreenfairyqueen7884
It is my business because Abortion is murdering a human being which is evil.
Thanks god
Do you circumcise?
