Great video. I could not see if the Vermont castings had also burned up the wood after 2 1/2 hours. What does this say about the stoves effect on creosote building? Also, what are normal cooking temperatures?
I wonder if you can retrofit the old stove with the new baffle? Is the new one considered more efficient? Must be more clean burning. Jotul builds a nice stove.
@@offgridsimplicity stay safe, i do stuff like that too, was just on my ladder in my bedroom slippers.. But the 602 is the one i have had my eyes on for upgrades at home. my local supplier will receive several in a few months. great video. Thank You
Not a lot of luck with products from China - all due respect to the people of China. I’d be glad to pay a bit more for a product of any sort made in the USA. Call me crazy if you like, that’s just been my experience over very many years of my life.
