The gag with her behind the podium was amazing.
That was funny. :)
I wish Kristin Chenoweth was brought into the series earlier, she is such a force of nature who kept the staffers on their toes but her character is very down to earth, and yeah I won't lie I think she's a sweetie and I adore her.
Easy enough to parse out: her romantic history with Sorkin would've made it unlikely for her to be brought aboard earlier.
Kristen was going to brought in earlier as Ainsley but then Wicked happened.
I miss my friends at the West Wing. I miss them so much it hurts.
Oh God me too ❤
It was really great TV, for a change. Now we have returned to the great wasteland...in many ways.
I just started watching it a week ago. Can't believe I never watched it before It's awesome! Still on season 1
@danielr3933 wish I could watch it for the first time
Going to rewatch this show to escape reality!
I love the dynamic between these two characters. These actors played it so well.
'*with feigned confidence* "Good afternoon!....I can't do this!" Same, Tobey. Same.
"One might say." Eyes zig zagging around Toby.
Utterly brilliant delivery.
I definitely want government to be much, much smaller, but I really think the republic would be improved by the addition of a Department of Metaphor, of which an Undersecretary of Whimsy and Caprice was a part. I would even be happy with an entrenched Bureau of Allegory.
The way they wrote him out of the show will never not make me mad
He still had it better than the ending for Sam Seaborne, John Hoynes, and Delores Landingham.
She was Ernie to Toby's Bert, and she was a pygmy to CJ's giraffe. She was the perfect contrast character.
"That tie will bleed."
"Keep it up it'll have company."
I have literally NEVER disliked Toby. He is the character of all time
Richard is a great actor. I love the way he interacts with props and the physicality of the set. Did you see him in NCIS?
Kristin Chenoweth was such an amazing addition to this cast.
I guess i have to watch The West Wing again to digest this past election
There is one thing you can watch. The handmaids tale. Specifications the resistance. Democratic only dies if it does on our hearts. We resist and fight. Peacfully ofc
I miss West Wing! I loved Toby! and I LOVE Kristin!!!
A Star is Born!
This is her being the Good Witch singing Popular to Toby
Master class from Kristin
You want him to project comfort and command? Just tell him to act like Odin.
Beautiful
She tries to make him “Popular.”
I'm sorry, but all I can hear in my head during this scene is, "Popular. I'll help you be pop-uu-lar."
I type this with all the positive and negative feelings that swim in my Soul....in my opinion Toby LQQKS like he loathes Everything! Just my take! LOLOL MOO From COW-lumbus, Ohio
I. Love. Toby. 😎😍
wished she was introduced earlier in series and also dont know why they didnt make her press secretary
She wouldn't be able to see over the podium. 😂
She's gonna make him pop-u-lar.
Popular. You want to be pop-you-ooo-ler!
Unadulterated loathing
When is the swimsuit competition?
I wish they hadn't done Toby so dirty in the end. He was one of the few members of that staff not consumed with his own hubris. Even when his side was winning, he made sure to keep the others in check. Making him be the source of a security leak in the end was disgraceful writing.
It’s four years of Trump screaming under helicopters. 😢😢😢
he's old and unhealthy - maybe four years is overly optimistic.
fingers crossed.
@@swerdna1970 I don't think 2 years of Trump followed by 2 years of Vance is any better, FWIW.
@@Dan210871Consider: Vance will never have Trump’s command over the cult.
@@VenetusAlpha You are probably right, but by the time Vance takes over, he won't need the same level of command because he'll benefit from the gained momentum.
@@Dan210871 He'll be a captive of the entrenched bureaucracy.
This is like Glinda teaching Elphaba how to be "popular" 🥺🩷
