What a comprehensive analysis. While I would categorize myself as an ICT/SMC trader, I prefer using HTF bias to confirm my LTF entries for any day, so I don't fall into the category of SMC traders that get duped by those M1 "supply/demand zones". Anyways, I can guess the market direction for most days (barring a few that gets disproven because of news), BUT it's the lower timeframe analysis that I get stuck in and end up taking "risky" trades before the move. What your analysis of the LTF in this video beautifully illustrates is how I can still learn a lot from the market by analysing an M1 chart. You've expanded my knowledge when I was feeling a bit stuck on how to improve my trading and I thank you for this educational demonstration. Really looking forward to PART 2!! Cheers 👍👍
@@iC4XCLEARLY Thing is, if people only look at lower timeframes, they can easily get caught up and caught out in all those mini structure shifts and end up becoming the liquidity he is talking about. My trading definitely improved once I understood HTF analysis cause that's what gives you your daily bias. Then we can use the intraday to plot out liquidity points and then use the lowest timeframes to refine our entry. I would even say what he's teaching here is similar to SMC, since he uses all the same terms, it's just that it also has the backing of the higher timeframe trends & liquidity. His M1 chart analysis especially is quite eye opening for understanding the trend of a session. Maybe the only other thing I would add to that is using candlestick patterns (shooting star, 3 white soldiers etc.) during market opens to give our potential trade/bias more confluence. But I have yet to test this out. Anyways, can't deny his impressive results though 🔥

ict traders would have taken the trade at 18:00 its a triple a set up and they would have targeted the above. if you actually went through the ict concepts then you would have seen on the m1, the reversal confirmation

The only problem I have with all of that analysis is exactly that, a lot of after the fact analysis but very little trading.. I mean is good that you have a 1:10 but to have to read so much into a chart and have to wait so much to put a trade on, I don't know. I know a loooot of people in twtr that calls things but trade nothing.. some of those people are pretty good at calling.. but I think if you are going to be watching charts you should also be trading and finding more opportunity, glad you can make a buck but to be glued to a screen and not trade is like the worst kind of jail cell, physically and emotionally. I actually felt that too. That's why I shift my focus on predicting most of the single candles. This is perticulary useful in trading options. You can put 5 min timeframe and on a single candlestick you can earn money. Here the only thing is you need to study a lot and need to find out most occuring patterns. With this, indeed you will glue to the screen but you get frequent opportunities. I actually felt the same way the "jail cell" thing which you explained. Trading is worst when you are not taking trades and just sitting in front of the screen. Instead create some strategies which will make you enter the market frequent and exit the market frequent with profits ofcourse.

The first trade idea whereby he mentioned smc got trapped from demand. No, real smart money traders wouldn't have gotten trapped because we would have looked at the "current daily candle print". He thinks that's a smc trap because he is glued onto the lower time frame which now further emphasises the importance of clicking in and out of higher time frame back into lower. We also need to bare in mind it was a Monday. Real smart traders would not have taken that long because the direction was down from his OWN PREMIUM ZONE. So ideally shorts is what we would be looking for ideally from up above. Had we missed the move then we would wait it out. All In all I'm emphasising the importance of regularly switching in and out from higher time frame back into lower like a "surgeon". Furthermore, the 1min timeframe with tight stop loss is not for everyone. There are ppl that use 30 pip stop loss and 30 pip TP and that first trade would have went into drawdown and back into profit.

I asked myself the same question and I agree it's not the '2 step protocol' he mentioned the previous day, but I think the difference was that there was an internal BOS whereas on the other trade the day before it was a HL only.
The move you are talking about made a BOS, which made the trade valid to enter. He teaches on his channel that if everything lines up he allows himself to enter a little before london open sometimes

i have been backtesting waqar method of trading from 01/2023-04/2023, and i average 10% a month profit with a 40% win rate. The man is an icon in the forex game, so humble and giving, his youtube channel is a goldmine of nuggets.
How is that possible only 10% with a 40% winrate? So you lose 6 trades out of 10 lets say. Thats -6R. You win 4 trades times 6.5R is 26R. Your profit is 20R thats 20%

It does seem similar to ICT but with extra confluences. I like it, I have always been thinking maybe it's better to find things not to enter a trade then to find things to enter a trade. I want to back test this strategy but the analysis parts are insane. Seems like you need to do a lot of analysis so I guess I will need to memorise all his analysis in these videos to back test it, that's going to take some time. I might just start off with the entry model he provided and work it from there.

i have been backtesting waqar method of trading from 01/2023-04/2023, and i average 10% a month profit with a 40% win rate. The man is an icon in the forex game, so humble and giving, his youtube channel is a goldmine of nuggets.
How is that possible only 10% with a 40% winrate? So you lose 6 trades out of 10 lets say. Thats -6R. You win 4 trades times 6.5R is 26R. Your profit is 20R thats 20%

The way he explains this is how "smart money traders trade" when he's clearly talking about retail traders that trade double tops double bottoms and trendlines is what's getting to me. The True Market Structure, Liquidity, PD arrays, proper Inducement identification; timeframe alignment and of course Time is all a person needs to be profitable....If you are able to use these concepts appropriately when doing a top down analysis then you are good to go....

It does seem similar to ICT but with extra confluences. I like it, I have always been thinking maybe it's better to find things not to enter a trade then to find things to enter a trade. I want to back test this strategy but the analysis parts are insane. Seems like you need to do a lot of analysis so I guess I will need to memorise all his analysis in these videos to back test it, that's going to take some time. I might just start off with the entry model he provided and work it from there.
