Great transcription for acoustic. Some little variations to pick up along the way. I love this song, it leaves so much freedom for expression. Thanks for this tutorial.
Hi David, (I got your email as well) sure that’s not a problem. I’ll send you the little wing tab like you mentioned instead of the refund. Thanks so much!
Hey Doug, thanks for your great tutorial. I got your valuable tabs as well. I wonder if you could give me a hint how to manage the muting on the E string in the second bar during the power chord sequence?
@dougedgell Awesome! I am looking at the 812 ce now… it looks like they come with the Taylor expression system electronics. Did you replace that with the LR Baggs? Or is yours an earlier year with the Baggs from factory?
@@sonicd57 I replaced the stock pickups. I also now have a Taylor 512 12 fret which I like even better than the 812. I ordered it from Taylor without their pickups, then had my repair man install the L.R.Baggs VTC pickup. It's very similar but it's smaller and there's less to deal with (phase switch, mic volume) In my recent tutorials I'm only using the 512. Thanks!
Lee John Blackmore has a more thorough version. This is good for a beginner, but Lee has a truer version, though more difficult. If you're more advanced or are looking for a challenge, use his version.
