I asked if he was from this generation because a lot of people have played BOTW and TOTK, but not any of the older games, so anything Zelda related reminds them of the former.

Early 2000: Standard Edition including: Game, Stickers, Map, Sometime a Music CD, sometimes Postcards, and always a colored Booklet / Game Manual with Backstory, Tips and many Explanations it.
Buying games back then was such an experience. Going to store on release date, walking out with that blue Best Buy bag, looking through the little booklet. Now you just order it and empty game case comes to your door lol

@@panos5845 don’t know if you can’t spell or if you were just typing fast I apologize if I’m coming off as rude I do not mean to but I was gonna say botw is nearly 7 years old your right but imo tears of the kingdom is worth 70 bucks due to how much is added it was never 70 dollar dlc it would’ve been cheaper if they put it into botw as dlc however the ideas were just too big which is why Nintendo made a entirely different game I already got 105 hours into it it’s a great game however I do not feel like the collectors edition should be 130 bucks I get that the games included but for the bonus stuff that comes with it the only thing worth it to me is the art book and concept art that’s just my 2 cents on it

this was my first collectors edition box and it was a magical experience imo, i have all of the contents on display including the box. definitely worth it for me, nice little thing to have for myself.
no doubt this guitar version of fairy fountain is wonderful but it also proves why this is the best(i mean the most wonderful, and very well composed cause it actually sounds like angel and fairy stuff, it is also very rich harmonically if you can read the music) Zelda music ever composed.
I legit almost fell asleep because of how nice the music is.

Because it wasn't a hardcover book it was paper stapled together and it had like 15 pages max

@@cube4547 rules for buying games. Never buy the collectors editions. Always go for the niche 500 made limited edition games. If a niche game ever gains popularity its value will skyrocket.

@ Cube - the GameCube manuals were great. 15 pages max isn't really accurate, some of them had around 70 (if you're counting both sides since both sides had printings). good memories as a kid reading those. that said, I do agree in this case the TotK art book is obviously much, much nicer than any GameCube manual. this CE probably would've cost around $80-90 during the GameCube days, but with inflation that's likely close to $129 today.
@@danielz-v4083 well cube isnt really defending this shit deal, all cube is saying is that older collection editions were also much worse quality than what they have now, not really defending the current deal, just saying they improved it.
The cool thing is that before the NES game, it already came with all of this, but you didn't have to pay through the nose to have it.

There is the 25th Anniversary orchestra version. It’s only three minutes but is awesome
A weak collectors edition overall. I love the art book. Everything else is junk for me. A cloth map of hyrule would have been a nice touch or even a master sword pen or something on those lines. This edition lacked care, attention and creativity. A slapdash collector's edition for an outstanding game!

I skipped out on this because they dont even offer statues anymore. They sell you an art book and a steel case for $120. Back then they threw in a statue and charged you $120.

I recorded an unboxing of it too, but when I watched it to begin editing, I realized all the plastic wrappings reflected my face very obviously, and I would have to manually blur everything as the object tracking wouldn’t work on a reflection… so I’m probably going to do a new recording after I’ve unwrapped everything.
I just got the game yesterday to play on my switch lite. It’s so fun
I am so happy for whoever receives this as a gift. To the ones that assembled the idea into manifestation of memory to a complete reality, you are so wonderful and mysterious.

Scalpers didn’t mess anything up. It was hard to get, but after awhile it became a lot easier. Also, the scalpers were forced to drop their prices considerably. I’ve been seeing a lot of these reselling for $160-180. Which I mean, $30-50 extra isn’t terrible if you weren’t able to find a copy. In the beginning they were trying to charge double but the market was so saturated with them they had to drop the prices.

This is brilliant value. For only €30 more you are getting a massive artbook, a game case, 4 pins, and a steel poster. The artbook alone would have sold for €30 seperately

The inner packaging was a lot different for mine. It's a lot cheaper quality, sadly, so it's already showing signs of stress, but hey.
The box itself is VERY pretty and it's what's on the inside that counts right.

@@jettvalen7326 So I’m from the UK, I can confirm the the USA and UK are different, UK version has outer sleeve for the box and the way we access the box is different, the badges are different UK ones are covered with a gloss layer and and the art books cover in the USA version is different. I prefer the outer book for Europe one but like the badge and the art book from the USA version, also i like the UK game case version because is doesn’t have the age rating on the book corner which for some reason only PAL Nintendo limited edition do this

The Nintendo Switch has No graphics card it can’t launch street fighter 6 resident evil village resident evil 4 remake you can only stream them and streaming sucks
Graphics shouldn't be the main determining factor for price, this is one of the biggest open world games ever made and clearly a lot of effort went into it. I played RE4 Remake (on Series X) right before this but think Zelda is a better game despite the graphical difference. Agree to disagree.
@@techtips you wish the graphics cards are the most expensive thing to buy alone on PC go try buying the 4090 alone it’s $2,229 not $300 you can go down to the weakest graphics card and just pay $400 I played street fighter 6 beta on Xbox series X PS5 PC and the PC wins I’m not going to defend the PS5 or xbox series X if they aren’t the best which they aren’t I stayed on my PC all night I left the consoles alone the Nintendo Switch got no street fighter 6 beta and neither did the PS4 cause capcom wanted the beta to go to the most powerful hardwares

My father's friend works in New York in the Nintendo shop where this was sold/released. Because he was friends with him, we got to get this Collector's Edition for FREE. The only con is that it's in Japanese but I think it adds a nice touch.

Worst collectors edition ever. Throws in a cheap children’s book with a different case and doubles the price plus gives scalpers a change to quadruple the price because it aged Nintendo

Certainly not as good as others, but for what you get and the price, I'd say it was worthwhile.
I especially like the steel poster and art book, although if I had to choose one thing I wish was included, it would definitely have to be the soundtrack.

Just received mine yesterday and I really loved the artbook and steel poster, but I’m really disappointed with the sages symbols. They didn’t even care to make the colors correspond to each sage, nor did they do the symbol for the 5th sage. I would’ve loved if they did the tears instead or even circular shape like in the menu.
