I have to completely disagree. Any archaeologist that could find evidence supporting any character in the Hebrew Bible would love to publish on something like that. They would make an immediate name for themselves in the field and get more recognition and more respect and more funding.
There is no conspiracy in academics. If they have evidence, they publish as quick as they can. Joshua, you are completely wrong about this. You gave a hypothetical example, do you have any real examples of stuff like this?

So...you don't study Israeli archaeology then. It ALWAYS backs the Bible, yet often receives pushback.

Just ask Dr. Manfred Kober, Dr. Bob Cornuke, or any other archeologist. There is often pushback. The honest ones seem to go ignored often enough.

@@joestfrancois I have studied Biblical archeology for decades. Findings ofteb take 30 years or more to be known, according to Dr. Kober. Much is not made known unless you know good sources of news.
