since releasing this, i now think that only the SEC data pad spawns the plans and I started only farming that and then leaving to reset. This change plus one other dramatically increased my find rate. The other change is that, when leaving to reset, I started dropping out of supercruise as soon as I entered it, turning around and boosting back. Usually I would be only 10-20 km away and this method reduced travel time between farms by about 2 min each run.
