This Dr.1 has the stubby landing gear. Nice video ..... and NO music, great to hear the engine!

      The engine IS the music!

My dream has always been to be a part of the airshows since seeing them as a kid. What are the requirements?

great job well done; a three pointer in a fokker can be done! too many guys coming in so fast then flipping it, I'm going to try this technique in mine

Great video from a great place. Must admit I slightly prefer the rotary engine powered example which I was lucky enough to see on a visit many years ago flown by Cole Palen as the Black Baron. This one I gather is easier to maintain.

Tony, "Old #1" is currently on display on our museum, Quonset building 2. Check it out during your next visit!

I first visited in 1978. Until then I had never learned of the rotary engine. I found them fascinating. Are any of the planes being flown these days equipped with a rotary?

Robert Balsbaugh Hi Robert, currently our airworthy rotary powered airplanes are the Sopwith Pup, Fokker DVIII, and Caudron G-3.
