Suman ji, you do surprise us everytime, by uploading such unprecedented ghazals, an exclusive piece of poetry and rendition...Words just fail me in expressing my appreciation for your dedication in unearthing such jewels and sharing them with your viewers / fans...We do enjoy every bit of these enchanting recitals and mesmerizing performances.....Another classic piece of poetry, music and rendition......A very eloquent tribute to Mehdi Hassan saahab, by Parvez Mehdi Ji ..Sang this ghazal with such intensity of emotions...It seemed as if he was pouring his heart out in rendering this meaningful and heart touching poetry of Meer Taqi Meer saaheb....The more I hear Parvez Mehdi Ji, the more I am attracted to his divine voice and soulful rendition of each ghazal..His in-depth depiction of words, rendered with such perception , gave clarity to the poignant lyrics of this ghazal...Dekh to dil ki jaa.n se uThtaa hai , ye dhuaan saa, kahaan se uThta hai...Very heart piercing lyrics..Naala sar kheenchtaa hai jab mera, Shor ik aasmaan se uThta hai...Such heart rending ash'aar...Yuun uThe Aah uss gali se hum, jaise koii , jahaa.n se uThta hai....And as soulfully rendered by Parvez Mehdi Ji, touching my heart strings...An excellent live performance, enlightening the listeners ....One could hear the thunderous applause from the audience, at the end of the performance....Thanks once again, for giving us the pleasure of listening to such a magnificent piece of poetry and rendition... I think At some places it is difficult for one to identify weather Mehdi Sahab is singing or Parvez Sahab..

For a while I stopped and recalled where I listen this ghazal and couldn't remember but came to know from Aftab Iqbal's program that this was sung for PAKEEZA movie and I remembered that only some part of this was played at background in that movie . Thanks a lot for uploading.

superb ghazal by mir taqi mir and beautiful rendition by pervaz mehdi. i like to dedicate this to my beloved wife who passed away about a year and a hlf ago, leaving me devastated. while i listen to the ghazal i feel as if she is in the audience and yet far away to be touched.

That photo is a treasure, Rajinder Kumar in Lahore 1984, with Actor M.Ali, inayat Hussain bhati and Parvez mehdi with others,
They all visited to (Sankhatra) village in district Narowal now, then was Sialkot district, this is the ancestral village of Jubillee kumar Sahib.

Simply fantastic.Not only sung with utmost devotion but also done full justice.I closed my eyes to find any shortcomings but surprisingly failed and simply gone into trance.The sarangi accompaniment is so soothing and of course the tabla play is just as one would like.Late Parvez Mehdi Sahib was unique.I had opportunity to listen to him 3 times in private mehfils .God bless his holy Saul.would love to listen to him more please

Ye mehdi sahib ki gaayi ghazal hai, lekin sivay composition k, parvez sahib ne kahin unki copy karne ki koshish nhi ki.isko apna bana k Gaya ..
