Really love this Mark, and I think it quite appeals to those who like the bolder looks. I think I'll try something like this. So many ideas on this, can use all kinds of metallics, or pastels or primaries to appeal to all kinds of preferances. Nice work, as usual.
I love this palette, Mark! It's really chic and unique. 😊 The paint just seemed to go where you wanted, to make you feel good. I've been thinking about doing a long piece for our side door lobby. The walls are a dusty orange (looks better than it sounds, lol). I was thinking of a black, silver, and gold blowout, but the addition of copper would go perfectly with our walls. Thank you. I resisted just water for years, but it was a good move. Haven’t looked back. Just make sure you add water a little at a time to avoid clumps. Amsterdam are great paints to use with just water. Hope it all goes well
OH MY DEAR MARK, THESE ARE REALLY BEAUTIFUL TOGETHER THESE METALLIC PAINTS… I would of never thought that the copper would give this painting such a wonderful accent, I also love when u paint 4 canvases like that because u can put them one way but u can also change from up and down or one side to the other, once again I love, love, love them… I have two questions I want to know to make cells u can make them with just paint and water or u have to put something else…? When u paint with just paint and water, what are the measurements is it like with floetrol, 1 part paint for 3 part water…?? In terms of the cells this is just using paint and water and I get them as I use metallics and also the Amsterdam titanium white. It’s at a ratio of 1:1 paint:water. Hope that helps 🤩
Absolutely Gorgeous!! I Love watching yr videos. The colors are perfect. I have an idea for u. A few yrs ago we had a total solar eclipse. Here in Ky, USA we were in the path of totality. The way the Suns rays flared around the ring looks just like yr paintings. It would look awesome if u could try a painting like that. I took pics with my phn with a special cover to protect my eyes. It was beautiful! If u aren't familiar with how it looks google it. Black & White with a shiny Diamond on one side. It would be beautiful!!!

Love watching your work. This is beautiful. What is the purpose of blowing your base color over your detail colors before blowing the design out?
Thank you! It’s a traditional Dutch Pour approach - but it also helps with the reaction of infusion with paint before you blow it out
