(199) ACRYLIC POURING - Elegant DUTCH Pour in Black, White and Silver! Oo la la!

- I thought I would challenge myself today with a Dutch pour done solely with black, white and silver. Quite a change from the brightly colored pours of which I am so fond! I am quite pleased with the result...it dried beautifully and I can hardly wait to varnish it for an elegant, tasteful finish.

Paints used: Arteza Silver, Modern Masters Silver plus a bit of Metallic Black, Metallic Black and Pearl Oyster and Artist's Loft white and black. Each of these were mixed with 1 part paint, 2 parts Floetrol and 1/2 part water plus a bit more water if necessary to thin.
The base was mixed 3 parts paint, 5 parts Floetrol and 2 parts water. I used Artist's Loft and tint with the mixed color.

Love the simplicity of the colors. Courageous to add more black paint and reblow. That rarely works for me. And I really liked the black lines too

Oooo! Where do I start? Ok, let's tackle the undisturbed paint first. It's perfect! Although I definitely think the colours had something to do with it, along with the very thin black lines. The whole thing is very soft and billowy. Beautiful! I'm not quite fully converted, but I'm getting there, lol! Thank you for posting two tonight! 😍😘

I love this piece, another great one to add to the collection. I like the softness of the bottom petal, it has some lighter areas which contrast well and bring balance to the composition. I'm so glad you left it as it was. Beautiful 🥰

It takes about 3 to 4 days to dry to the touch and another 3 or 4 weeks to fully cure. Thanks for watching!

It's been a while since I made that video, but I think it was the use of a lot of metallics, along with Artist's Loft Flow Acrylic for the base coat. Thanks for watching! 😘

Wow great job. Is that done on canvas or plexiglas. Secondly if i print a photo on plexiglass can i add quartz crystals on edges or wherever i want. Just trying to imagine the final results

It's a Conair 1875 watt from Walmart.
