First of all, congratulations for making this visit. Through the coverage, I felt as if I was seeing this place for the first time, even though I am from this city, and this is evidence of the good coverage, so thank you for that. This village was restored to be a witness to us as Saudis about how our ancestors lived and the difficulties they faced at that time. If you notice that the buildings are built on the top of the mountain, to be like a fortified castle. At that time, war between tribes was widespread and deadly. While the bonding between families within the village was very strong, through the adhesion of the buildings to each other. We also note that they had the physical strength to move, break and sculpt rocks in a beautiful geometric shape for construction, despite the lack of transportation at that time and the absence of factories as well. We acknowledge that the place needs to be developed and provide some places for rest during the ascent and walking between the buildings, as well as providing some simple foods and drinks to provide all kinds of comfort for the visitor to enjoy the place as much as possible, and this is considered in the future. I would like to thank your good feelings by wearing the abaya out of respect for the traditions of Saudi Arabia with the difficulty of movement while climbing the stairs, so I thank you from my heart. I wish you and your companion a good, happy and safe stay in Saudi Arabia. You have become a part of us now, and we are always honored by you. Do not hesitate to contact us with any inquiries & support, please, as I live & work in Riyadh. Greetings..🙏🏻
Dear Ahmed, thank you very much for this very kind and thoughtful comment. I am truly touched you would take so much time to write it and also to give us such great education about Thee Ain. I am constantly humbled by the kindness of Saudi Arabians and it is something I try to emulate in my own life. Thank you again. Your comment encourages me to keep making videos and to keep exploring because there are so many good people in this world. Thank you again. :)
Congratulations you made it finally to "Thee ain" historic village. It is utterly embarrassing to the owners not to find basics like soap and towels . You could have found a better rank accomedation if you researched it .
Thanks for the comment. Actually they didn’t have towels but we had one towel in our luggage that we both had to use. It was listed as 4 stars so we thought they would have towels. We did some research but unfortunately what is online is not always correct. Anyway, live and learn! We still had a good trip.
@@TheLensCapChronicles Most private businesses in the country are illegally owned and run by foreigners under cover by a saudi national for some percentage. Most of those are from poor countries with very little education and least regards to hygiene. This is happening all over the country simply because the locals are very dependent on the government jobs/ aids and are too lazy to start any business on their own . With the country's new vision this problem is wished to be solved.

Wow, this is really interesting. I didn't know this. Thank you for letting me know. I wish too that Saudi can show all of its very best to tourists because it is beautiful!
Respect for respecting the local culture and putting on the Abaya eventhough it wasn't always easy!
Thanks for your comment! I started to get the hang of it after a while 😊
