The 21/22 home kit was way nicer than this one imo. Really don't like that collar. Still personally looking forward to the pink one though!
I'll give it a 6. The kit I'm looking forward to more is the second black kit. Hope this season is a lot better that the current season Don Robbie. COYG.
I see Robbie is now partnering with Arsenal. As a long time fan of AFTV, I love the growth but it is preventing you from going in on Arteta and Arsenal.
He specifically said he bought it and does not get send free ones or get paid to review the kit.
I think it is very nice but continuing my nearly 10 year boycotting of Arsenal merchandise
@@BWart-zp5hy my response is more in regard to the OP stating Robbie cannot go in on Kroenke simply because he bought the merch. I have seen Robbie wearing Arsenal merchandise for years and still rip the Kroenkes a new one.
I wish all fans would stop buying merchandise so as to hurt the kroenkes in the only place that matters to them, but every fan is different.
5/10- BANG AVERAGE- The idea of a collar is really cool and so is the lightening bolts on it too. I would've really liked to see more of the white on the sides (like this season's shirt) and some hidden patterns in the big red front part of the shirt. You could also making the lightening bolts blue too. (ALSO Ty's mum supports Man United)
I’d give it a strong 8/10, very simple and sleek design. I do think it looks a lot younger than the last couple of arsenal home shirts. The last time we had a collared home shirt, we signed Viera and Anelka in the same season so hopefully we have that same luck next season. Overall, I think the shirt is an accurate representation of the current arsenal; young, bright, hopeful and on the come up. Hopefully some brilliant memories will be tied to this new home shirt. COYG
I like this kit with the collar, it can be worn casually without making it look too obvious that you are wearing the Arsenal home kit. 8/10 for me..

6/10 never been a fan of collars on football shirts, I do prefer this seasons home shirt tbh, think the cannon should be on every shirt even if it’s at the bottom of it.. looking at the kit as a whole it jumps to a 8/10 as love the red socks meaning the whole kit is predominately red with white shorts and white sleeves
The black and gold away kit is fire that’s the one I’ll be getting
I think it’s the best “post Wenger” kit
Traditional shirt with a few classy details could be a classic if the team performs next season will give it a 7.5

Actually it's a straight forward basic home kit. I dont like the zigzagging, but in general nothing special and for 100 pounds just for the Shirt without name or number, that's where the rating is dropping for me.
Would give 7/10 retained original arsenal aesthtics. But its missing some flare which is exciting for buyers. Let's just say its simple jersey with a fancy collar.If you take away the collar, it would be nothing. Would be surely waiting for away kits to drop.
A brief callback to the 2019/2020's home kit. I was waiting for something better.

The new home kit 22/23, jersey, looks ok. I wish they had left the canon logo on the back and not Arsenal. I don't like jerseys with v necks. 8/10
9/10 - I always like a home kit with white collar. Suitable for me to wear it for any occasions! For the kit itself, its a pretty solid combination of color and the balance is good. The zig-zag on the collar definitely catch our eyes!

I live in Asia where using football kit to hangout with friends or family is common. Bytheway, we use the fan-size one , not the player-fit one so its ok to wear it to other places beside football related places.

6/10 . Even though the white sleeves are the tradition I still think that the designers needed to provide something BESPOKE and particular only to Arsenal. They are the experts show us your creativity that would make my grandparent or toddler tell the difference between this season and last. ✌🏿

I’d say a 6.5 out of 10. My least favourite of this generation of Adidas Home Kits.
The collar looks a lil’ out of place for me.
But still a decent kit none the less.

I personally like it a lot, really rate the retro styled collar I think it gives it a bit more character and I’m glad we’ve reverted back from the Ajax styled kit

8/10 been a few years since we had a home kit with a collar and alot of red which is always good compared to this seasons one as James pointed out.
I’ve loved all the Adidas Kits so far but I’m not a fan of this one. Looks very plain & don’t like the collar. Agree that all teams should have their own original kits rather than a template with different colours.
I think it's classy, definitely accommodates the classiness of the club. The collar is a nice touch too. I rate this a 7 out of 10. That’s what I miss about old kits, especially the older World Cup jerseys, everything about them was original and unique

8/10 loving the collar and the button it's a little old school. Arsenal on the back is good maybe (Est. 1886) on the back would be better but I like the change up from the gunner last season. The full red body and white sleeves is much better than the white side of last season. Only thing I don't like the the zigzag on the collar looks out of place and doesn't go with anything else on the shirt. 1 thing I wish would experiment with is the 3 adidas lines maybe blue or gold.
The new ‘22-‘23 home kit looks clean and bold, just like the new season performances we’re all expecting from the Gunners!…

6/10 - the lightning bolt has no significance, the collar is a nice touch but as you fellas said nothing beats the first adidas kit!

I really like the shirt. For me the collar just makes it ooze class. I don't know if it's the studio lighting but I would've prefered a slightly darker shade of red. 8/10
The 19/20 first adidas home kit has always been the best & then the 20/21 kit with the zig zag panels.
Solid 7/10 agree with Don Robbie could do with something unique my favourite home kit was the invincible 2004 simple and clean but the team made it legendary and the 06/07 home was sexy
8.5/10 - I think I prefer the last one (because I bought it lol), but it's a nice kit, and I dig the collar.
Similar kits from different manufacturers is taking the piss, but a unique kit for one team won’t happen. Doesn’t make sense for the manufacturer (increased costs to produce) and the fan (increased cost of the shirt)… and the shirts are already expensive.
I like the top, need to see it in person to have a propper feel of it, I'd give it a 7 out of 10 as well! 🔥👍

Rating 5. This is another poor attempt at a kit from adidas. I've been look forward to them doing something innovative and not going the "retro" route but they seem to be playing on our nostalgic nature, yearning for the teams of the past. I wanted a deeper red like the Puma 17/18 kit. the collar is going to work well with them selling polos, I can tell you that.

The kit is pretty good, even though i liked the arsenal shirt with the white slabs on the sides more; its still an amazing kit. I will give it a 7.5/10. I hope I can win it.
