Yamaha's YAS-101 is a great budget sound bar, with an excellent design and a helpful feature for dealing with remote signals, although it's light on connectivity.
Old, but still looking at maybe grabbing a used one, simply for the built in sub with a sub line out. I have a Sony, and the wireless sub has gotten progressively worse over time and constantly cuts in and out, and only 3ft away.
I’ve got an external sub woofer it’s a Yamaha external subwoofer at that so thought it would be plug and play but it’s not. I have plugged both cable ends in to the external sub and sound bar and nothing
Can I hook up external. Speakers to it
Bought one of this, all I can say is amazing!!
So u still have it ?

you need to turn of the internal sub first, then t will work
Would the sound from an HDMI cable route through to this soundbar if the HDMI cable is connected to an xbox or PS3 on the TV?
@AlmightyUniden
Yeah, looks decent. Wonder why there are so many dislikes.
@PTNLemay Cnet is getting a bad reputation from the Apple users since they don't enable playback on Ipads and other IOS devices.
Seems legit.
@PTNLemay
I think it's because of all those goddamn stupid ads... : P
