You just keep cycling through the hours and it will do 12 hours in AM and then 12 hours in PM. No way to only adjust AM/PM you have to cycle through the 24 hours in a day.

This may not be what you’re talking about, but there is the sunrise duration button on the button panel at the top. When you push that it shuffles through the different amounts of time to have the duration set for.
You need to go to the set alarm setting - cycle through past the time setting. Then you can select 1 of 3 audio alarms- your setting must be switched to the OFF position which is why you hear no sound.

Keep clicking the forward button & it will set itself to pm instead of 12 am

Press and hold the alarm set button for a few seconds to turn it on/off.

maybe just set your alarm time later itself...

Yes! That’s actually how I have it set up currently. So you can turn off sound and still have the sun rise.

How to install 2032 battery
It comes with one installed- but it has to be plugged in to work. The battery is only their to remember your settings if theres a power failure.
