Ya know as a musician myself, I can understand this completely. Some musicians are different, but I honestly can see how it can throw him off. He may not feel completely comfortable singing randomly without his band and that's respectable. He respectfully declined and explained why not. You can't be mad at him, He's just being honest.
he's being fair here though. Artists want the final fully polished version to be what people hear. after being in lockdown, unable to tour and having been a while since they've released new music, especially a full album, makes sense he wants people to hear the full fledged version first.
I mean, He isn't any wrong... They've been putting on sth that worths the wait and been uploading a lot of teasers, like... It won't be as exciting if they just reveal it from the start
Not to mention, as I saw on Paradise City, they could be forbidden from singing new songs that would just be uploaded in bad quality before the full release, by the record label...
It probably throws them off when they are asked to sing ramdobly. Think of how many times the are in the studio singing pieces and parts, and then in concerts they have an ear piece and the music to guide them. Can't say I blame him. Other singings from a different singing era, maybe Elton John or Paul McCartney could do so. Modern musicianing is very choppy.
His view on being your own hero is...the most true yet hard to live by thing for me personally that I've ever heard. I want to be and I can see where that would be so helpful and productive and where it would save so much heartache and confusion but... I can't imagine my way of going about that successfully. Lol
When people subordinate themselves To an imagined or perceived authority, or put people up on pedestals they resent them when they think they are not doing what they want them to, I.e. they reject them, or not behave how they want them to. But the person they were looking up to was just being themselves and had nothing to do with the infatuated persons shattered fantasy.
Okay first of all the “It doesn’t go well!”, puts out that Andy was going to just attack BECAUSE of being asked out of the blue when in reality he was polite about explaining the WHY - misleading. 🤣😂🤣😂
There’s plenty of vids of him singing around his house, on livestreams etc but okay. He’s also mentioned his deep voice is due to his vocal chords being misplaced in his throat, but he didn’t get surgery because it would have changed his entire voice.

It's not about religion that means nothing to him. It's about relationship that only him can provide to fill that missing piece in your heart.
Poor fan went to all the trouble to get there and paid to be in the audience. They would have been looking forward to asking him their question for weeks, only to get hurt and be devastated. How immature and spiteful he was, they must have cried all the way home
... they could of literally picked any other question. They were always going to hear the song, just later. Why didn't they ask something that he won't repeat later? He also, very politely, explained why he wouldn't...
The fact that you think andy is in the wrong here shows a intense lack of maturity and shows you have no respect for him as a artist. Musicians do not owe you anything. He was extremely polite in his answer and handled this very well.

You think Andy will sign his solo album? I have it. Since I’m going to see black veil brides signing autographs. I don’t want to get Andy mad or anything

I don't agree with what your saying. Jesus is my hero, i can't be my own hero. That's too wordly. Love ya anyway
I feel embarrassed reading your comment. But whatever. Believe what you want.

I’m pretty sure he’s referring to people in the real world like political figures, musicians, influencers, etc.
