    Beautiful work gentleman! Thank you for the great video! I have been wanting to refurbish my pool deck but wasn’t sure what produce to use. This deck is exactly the same as mine and I found a store that sells the product close to home! I have taken a few bids and all are around $5000. Now, I am confident I can do a good job and save myself money. Thank you again!

    Thank you for sharing your job and providing insights to swimming pool repairs. I must say I am shocked that you would take on this type of job because your channel is identified as painters and for that I commend you because the customer may have had a difficult time getting a contractor. Why paint a swimming pool deck? I thought paint would make the pool deck surface slippery? I recently learned about Shark-Grip? In my research of swimming pool maintenance and repair, I don't think our swimming is in despair as I once thought. I have so many DIY Projects ahead of me because I cannot find contractors willing to do the job(s).

    Excellent video. Thank you for sharing this. What is the life expectancy for this in a very hot and humid climate?

    • @ABNPainting
      @ABNPainting  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      hard to tell. life expectancy deepens on how much traffic it gets.

    Great video. Can you list the names of products you use for patching, texture, and painting? When I pause, icons block the text on the cans. You can list in your video description so all your views can read. Thank you

      If a pool deck is in good condition i usually recommend concrete stain. If a lot of repairs are needed, or you want the cool feel, i usually recommend paint. Here is the link with the video that goes over paints and stains that can be used on a concrete pool deck. th-cam.com/video/uqNYu1Uo8uY/w-d-xo.html

    I heard the paint you used stains really easy, any thoughts on that? I am looking at repainting my pool deck.

    • @ABNPainting
      @ABNPainting  4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      This is a flat paint with cool feel, it will look very nice and feel good under your feet, but not very easy to maintain.
      For easier maintenance you can go with solid color concrete stain (no cool feel) or put a clear coat on top of paint ( will kill any cool feel, will look shiny because it will be either satin or semi-gloss, and may need anti-slip additive, and you will have to strip it when you are reedy to re coat next time.)
      There will be always a trade off between how it it will look and feel and how easy is it to maintain. There is no perfect solution.

    Great vid, thanks! About how long do you give it to dry in between coats?

    • @ABNPainting
      @ABNPainting  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      depends on outside temperature. could be as little as an hour in the summer or a few hours or over night in winter.

  • @apatperron
    @apatperron 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    how long does this product last??

    • @ABNPainting
      @ABNPainting  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      all depends on the traffic and how nice you want it too look. It could last you 10 years or more but if you want your your pool deck look sharp you may need to repaint it every 3-4 years.
