I met Christina Aguilera after a show she put on, I was so surprised to see how tiny and Short she was...her stage presence and voice made it feel as though she's a giant...i was shocked that I was pretty much having to look down at her because I'm only 5"51/2" 😅

Interesting to hear I’m taller than some of these celebs. I was shocked when I met Jamie Foxx at Comic-Con International back when he was promoting The Amazing Spider-Man 2 at the time. Not quite tall.

It is weird how height is associated with a person’s personality. I’ve always struggled with being short and looking younger, so this is a good reminder that I need to make up for it with having more confidence in myself. These actors certainly didn’t let their height influence their success.
I think they just couldn't find 20 short celebrities, so started including normal-height ones that "we THOUGHT" were taller.
Lol, yeah...I tend to look at the footwear in Stallone's movies, Vin Diesel too, because they like playing those tough guy types. They'll often wear thicker soled black boots, so it's not easy to spot.
I saw Drew Barrymore in Anchorage years ago, I was surprised she was shorter than I expected. I'm 5'6 and she was shorter than me. She was petite and elegant.

There’s no way Adam Sandler is 5’10. I’m 6’ and I once walked passed him and I was able to look down on him onto the top of his head. I would say he’s closer to 5’8, maybe 5’9 in shoes. I’ve heard many times when it comes to celebrities subtract 2 inches from their listed height
Nice video, however it would have been nice, if you would have added the height in metre and centimeter as well since most of the countries in the world are using the metric system.
People are often struck when they see actors in real life: they are often short with small bodies and large heads. It makes sense that this body type is preferred in film with the emphasis on close-ups for acting.
Exactly right. Mel Gibson has a freakishly large melon, for instance. I was a little surprised at just how skinny Cumberbatch is though. With the large head and attenuated body, he looked a bit like a mantis getting into a cab.

Sometimes depending on your body proportions you can appear taller or shorter than you are. My husband is a tall 6’5” however he is torso tall which makes him appear shorter. He’s a teacher. From far away he looks around 6’2” 6’3” when you stand next to him, it’s a different story.
Along with Shakira, Bruce Dickinson is up there, along with Dio...Short people tend to have great voices

I think it's like the shorter side of average. Like average to me is, 5'8"-6'1".
The average height for men in the western world is 5’9-6’0 but mainly 5’9 ( I know this because I’ve seen a lot of documentaries and both current and old height databases that repeatedly say this like nearly all the time.)

Been to Stallone’ s house years ago. He’s certainly short. I was only 12 or so that was the first thing I noticed. Met a couple others here but none surprising except Stallone since I was young and no internet then, to make shallow videos about height (that I’m now participating in😂) in early 90’s. He was known to wear elevator shoes too along with some others here.
The one who surprised me to be a little on the shorter side compared to his Marvel costars (I’ve met a few) is Tom Holland but he makes up for it in personality, he’s a big sweetheart
I've always known that Tom is on the smaller side, but it's when you seen him with Zendaya that you realize just how short he is. At 5ft10 Zendaya is pretty tall for a girl. but she is at roundabout the same height as the global average for men. Tom does more than make up for his height deficiency with his personality

I also bumped into Richard Keel... he was NOT short. When I turned around to say "excuse me", I felt like I was looking at a belt buckle, and then looked up and managed to squeak out my apology, he just smiled, and in his deep voice said "it's okay". (He was 7' 2".) So I felt short.
I was so in love with Robert Conrad in the 60s!! Unfortunately, in 3rd grade I was 5 ft. 7 and knew even then that my height was going to ruin my chances with Mr. Wild, wild West! If only I could have seen the future, when my height would work for modeling! Nothing gives you confidence like being tall and skinny when it generates income!!

Wow that's crazy. I'll be mindful of this and not be so harsh on celebrities. I was wondering why I was always so hateful and vendictive towards celebrities it was that. I was threatened by famous people but with this information now I understand that they're magical elves who bring joy to my life.

I was surprised to find out that the voice actor James Arnold Taylor is actually 5"4. Seriously, he's one inch taller than me, and I'm 5"3. It got me thinking that he brings in a much bigger impression than his height would tell otherwise. 😳😳😲😲

In terms of rock musicians who are a lot shorter than they'd seem due to their larger-than-life persona and stage presence, Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails is one to include. He comes off as pretty tough and intimidating, especially during live performances (his muscular frame adds to it), but he's actually 5'7" in height.

@@rokeYouuer Canada is officially metric (source: I'm canadian lol) We just accommodate imperial because of our american neighbors who are our biggest trading partners. Also, there are still plenty of people here who grew up before we made the switch to metric and old habits die hard.
My husband used to say he was 6 ft. We are exactly the same height, and I am not 6 ft. tall! After we were married for 30 years, he was 5ft. 9, same as me. I think guys feel pressured that their virility is sometimes based on their height, and not on how they do the horizontal tango....I would like to tell every guy that height doesn't really matter, but I was very self conscious about being too tall as a kid, so I get it, height is a weird thing people make judgements on.

@@christineparis5607 i can pretty much guarantee you that most guys don't want a girl that is taller than them, same height is pushing it a bit, but just a bit shorter is what most guys would say is better. it would be a bit intimidating for me if the girl was taller than me, cuz i'm 6ft5 and girls don't usually reach that height.

Peter Dinklage is a little person. Nobody expects him to lie about his height. Not the same thing.
I would argue that for the females, anywhere from 5’ 1 to 5’4 would be more normal a height for a female than say 5’6 or higher. Although I’ve always been jealous of those girls and wanted to be taller than my 5’3 For guys I would say anything below say 5’10 would be considered short but more frequently we’ve seen the average height for guys be more like 5’6 to 5’9 and taller guys to kind of be the outlier
It’s the physical hight that doesn’t count.

i'm 6ft5, and not that i think they are short, but i often forget just how tall i am against actors like Chris Hemsworth and Dwayne Johnson. Now The Rock is my exactly my height, but his larger-than-life physique makes him appear taller to me. So basically i'm taller than Thor (190cm). Which all means one thing, i need to get in shape!
