I remember when your science teacher would show you a looping roller coaster with an open box of popcorn and nothing would fall out "back in the days". Now, it seems like every coaster is designed to evacuate every last kernel of corn, and im all for it.
Why are you all for it? The teacher demonstrated that to show you the power of centrifugal force. But if rides don't have those positive Gs anymore, then why do you like them more now?
@@maxhagenauer24 Simple. You learn about the preservation of positive G to show you the coaster is "safe" in that you wont go flying out of your seat. Without that, you have a higher fear factor. If you look at modern coaster designs, they all have elements that try to "throw you out of your seat". Not just "air time" but "ejector time" or overbanks, or stall inversion. Its the illusion of danger that enhances the thrill for many.
@MyBluJL Positive Gs are so cool though, you grey out and feel heavier and stuff, I wish more modern coasters had them as they are just as fun as negative Gs or sometimes better. It's very sad how they have COMPLETELY died.
@@detroitdiezel7856 One of the two trains has two spinning seats on the back row as an upcharge. It's crazy! Closest I can get to Ride to Happiness haha
Absolutely loved this coaster when were there in March 2023. Our kids were 6 & 7 at the time, their first ever rollercoaster and they LOVED it. We now have adrenaline junkies just like us.
I've never done the spinning seat, however the last inversion is so whippy it gets me every time. The Steel Taipan may not be the most intense roller coaster, however it goes out with a bang!
If you want the best possible experience on Tailwhip then do it alone if you can it spins a lot more but do whatever you want. It legit feels like you’ll fall out on the final inversion it’s chaos:) Also, hope you enjoyed you trip in Australia. As an Aussie, I’m very happy to have DC Rivals, Leviathan, and Steel Taipan, wait, why do all our best rides have special backseats lol
@@CoasterStudios it's never running. Dream world seem to actively not want to run the train. I've booked the upcharged 3 times and they've cancelled it on me everytime so far. I don't honestly know why they bother promoting it. They clearly don't want to use it...
Hope you got to ride the train with the rear spinning seat a couple times. That roll is awesome going through it sideways. Same with the loop actually.
@@rideexpedition it’s also a couple km/h faster which from what i’ve heard has a big difference in the 2nd half if the trims are off in the mid course brakes.

The last roll on the spinning seat is by far the craziest coaster element I have ever done
What spinning seat?
@@detroitdiezel7856 the spinning seat. The seat that spins.
@@Marty_NZ where is it?
Very back seats

I've been on this dozens of times and I loved it. I love it so much that I don't want to stop riding this.
Thanks!

ikr
I love how curved the spike is!
How cool is the spinning row? Is it better than ENSO? (Unless you haven't rode either)
As a local I can say that it's crazy!
the spinning row wasn’t open when we were in australia 😭

This thing honestly might as well be considered a Mack Extreme Spinner with the spinning seat.
we need a spinning reaction now lol
we didn't get to ride it in the spinning seat :(
@@CoasterStudiosawwwww that’s sad :(
Similar to you guys, I was not that amazed by Blue Fire but really loved the clone of it called Velociraptor in the UAE.
I really want to try that!
Sadly Australia is like 10,000 miles away from where I live 😭
It's basically blue fire and Europa Park, only difference is the spike

How at the beginning they said they wanna do it at the back I did it at the back for my first ride
Surprised u didn’t do the back spinning seats on this coaster
how tall is the backwards spike?
Was Blue Fires roll at the end also just as intense?
yes!
The actual Mack Xtreme spinning coaster
the launches on this ride are actually forceful it shocked me

@meow900 they're both snakes. They're also both rollercoasters.
