I've never had to change my top games of a year list as many times as I have this past year. I think I settled on Re4make as my GotY, but GOD I love so many 2023 games.

@anirbandutta7371 I haven't uploaded in YEARS lolz. I just find it fun to do that on forum posts or compare with friends. If I had to make a top 10 list however

2.) Class of 09 ReUp
3.) Trepang²
4.) Battlebit remastered
5.) Armored Core 6
6.) Hi-Fi Rush
7.) Lethal Company
8.) Amnesia the Bunker
9.) W40k Boltgun
10.) Dead Space Remake

As ludicrously hard as this would be for you Ryan, would love to see you do a top ten personal favourite voice acting performances from video games or top ten personal favourite boss soundtracks from video games. Even harder if you can’t pick NSFW voice actors for that first one haha.
Also as for my favourite game from last year…it’s technically one that I can’t play yet. Because it’s not on Xbox yet (though rumours are that it’s coming and I hope to god it’s true). Cause even as someone who basically new almost nothing about how the series worked, the moment I saw the boss fight against Bahamut in FF16…oh man. I knew.
Some of the best and worst games we've had in years, 2023 was insane.
Instead of a Top 10 you could do a retrospective, that would give you a chance to properly talk about both widely known masterpiesces and lesser known gems.
Hope you do this especially for more obscure releasces, you have a talent to reccomend good games that deserve more recognition, thanks to you i discovered Soulsice, Deeprock galactic and Marlow Briggs thank you for that
GamerTronAwardShow?... yeah I agree top 10's are difficult when genre's now are so diverse, that's why you see more specfic lists like "top 10 horror blah" but even that feels generic and mandatory. But a personal awards show, you can highlight 3 or 4 games for a single award and then you can bring them back for more awards later and even then, scientificly... you can even pick what a top list is based on the most amount of awards.
But idk boo you do you rofl lol RAWR XD (yeah I'm like 30 years old when Rawr was normal so you can steal this idea man, my soul was crushed a decade ago and I just want to see happiness in the world)
I know the same feeling man its hard to choose which movie, show, comic, cartoon, and ofcourse video game's cause they were mostly bangers and it can be tough to decide
And boy i cant wait to see how tbis year will offer

When clicking on video I was 100% sure it will be rant about how 2023 was bad for games... quite a surprise. For me, 2023 was meh, I had troubles selecting stuff even for steam awards - from your selection, I didn't like anything apart of Wall world. Then at the end of year, there was of course the best one: Last Train Home (and you don't even have it in your selection!). But looking at your library, we definitely don't have the same taste for games.
Given the wide variety of quality games released in 2023 in so many different genres, it kinda baffles me that anyone could struggle to find good games. What is your taste for games? What are your favourites all time?
My favourite video game of 2023 was Metroid Prime Remastered coz screw everything else.

My god, I spent some time in Synthetic Man's comment sections lately. The creator and all the people in the comments actually believe that and ridicule you if you disagree. I just don't understand what world they are living in! Do they even play modern games, or have they already made up their minds?
Yeah humanity is really in a doomer gloomer state at the moment and if anything positive comes up they'll instantly try to tear it down because it ain't following everyone's mindset ( looking at you people who bashed Steven universe )
